IGA's Corporate culture, especially the management, is either old and grumpy, hostile or indifferent. And it trickles down to the staff. They would rather lose a 25-year customer than give a refund on a $6 product returned for a good reason. Customers are disposal and a dime a dozen as far as they're concerned. They stand behind their staff and management but NOT the products they sell. Go to Save-On Foods or Safeway - at least they value and respect their customers.

Inflation has hit this store more than any other store. Recently stopped going with the last bakery hike ! Some items up by 2-3$. Cheaper to walk to whole foods

I really hate writing negative reviews, but here I am still upset about a rude encounter yesterday 5 pm with a short, heavy set asian lady in her 50’s who was paged from produce to help me with a floral selection. I was so embarrassed and taken back by her yelling at me saying, “she didn’t have time for this” that I just put the plant back and paid for my groceries! In contrast, the cashier was so polite, even wishing me a nice day. Actually she may have over heard that floral female yelling at me, it was that loud!
What a way to make a sale. 🌺

I'm a long time customer, but please, please teach your cashiers to stop coughing into their hands, then touching food. Today, the woman I had not only coughed twice into her hand, then touched my produce, but then she scratched her nose and face and didn't change the gloves she was wearing nor did she use hand sanitizer at any point. Disgusting.

Slightly higher prices but the produce is of great quality and freshness !Their deli products are of a higher quality than other grocery stores and many of the lunch meats have no sulphites or preservatives .

Cute little IGA in the kits area. Very friendly staff. I was greeted by the store manager right away. And everyone was very willing to help me find things.
The red velvet loaf is very good lol
