JL Vancouver Thrift Store is a small, eclectic thrift shop known for its vast array of items, including kitchen housewares, tools, lamps, art, jewelry, furniture, clothing, and more. Many items are sourced from various countries, such as England, Germany, Japan, and the USA. The store is praised for its fair prices and friendly owner, who creates a welcoming atmosphere. Customers have found great deals, like a pair of jeans and a maxi skirt for just $11. The store is densely packed with merchandise, creating a unique shopping experience. While some items are neatly displayed, the overall arrangement can feel chaotic, with a mix of clothing, accessories, and random goods. Upon entering, shoppers are greeted by the pleasant scent of incense, adding to the store's charm. Despite its clutter, there is a notable selection of glassware and ceramics at reasonable prices. While many appreciate the variety, some have experienced inconsistencies with the store's hours, leading to occasional closures during supposed open times. Overall, JL Vancouver Thrift Store is regarded as a treasure trove worth exploring for those seeking unique finds while supporting a local business.
The worker here is very nice and the prices are better than most thrift stores I have gone to! I usually like to visit after an exhausting day at school.
