i go to this school and it forces us to watch kids eat and take care of the younger classess when we also need to eat. The new wing teachers aren't that nice and are quite mean except for Ms.godfrey i do not recommend this school.

I went here in the 70's and I had the best kindergarten teacher ever her name was Mrs. Gill and she was amazing!! This was back in the day where teachers used to be able to slap you on the hand with a ruler, be as racist, narrowminded, and as ignorant as they wanted to be but Mrs. Gill was different.

I am a 79 year old man who went here when i was a little lad. I was quite fond of school. When i was a little boy there was this activity we did at school. Who could eat the steamed carrots. It was very tasty and fun. Later on in life im now 79 and reminiscing my past. Good times.

Straight up child abuse happened at this school. Their alternative program allowed for teachers in secret to grab kids and force them into a time out room. Yelling and screaming from teachers to students was common place here and some of the worst psychological torture I have went through happened in these walls. 10- 11 years after I have left this school to this day I cannot walk past it without severe emotional distress. The school covered up the program and quietly fired the teachers. Me and several students were physically assaulted by staff members here. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE. It’s time people know that the former alternative program here physically and emotionally attacked and berated the children who attended it.

I don't recommend since there was this time that I was waiting in line for the book fair and we had to line up outside. It took them so long to finally let us line up inside. It was literally hailing at the time and the children are just disgusting. They kept on going in front of me and my friends so it took us a very long time to get into the book fair. Once we get in, the librarian fricken tells us it's closed. If it was closed why didn't y'all tell us earlier so we didn't waste our time lining up-?? This school just doesn't make any sense- And that's the story of how me and my friends wasted the whole lunch hour lining up for the book fair and not even getting in.

This is such a professional and amazing school. The teachers are very open and supportive to not only the children but also the families, I couldn't be more at ease to send my kids to school. Bless the special needs teachers who clearly love their jobs and always have a cheery wonderful attitude! A+ for norquay!!

The school is located close to 29th skytrain station in a beautiful quite neighborhood, friendly staff, big school playground and has a very active school principal that you'll see early morning walking around and greetings the kids and parents.
