Purchased from here ahwile ago and the quality of the lingerie I bought has lasted so well and my experience here has stayed with me - the staff was extremely helpful in finding several options for bras which was exciting since my size is hard to find. Also love that they sell Cosabella undies, and the washing soda works like a charm.

Very nice shop. I didn't get the name of the lady assisting me, but she was so nice and helpful finding me a bra that fits right! I'm not from town, but I'll definitely be back & ordering online in the future!

Excellent service from this little bra-tique tucked near the Wedgwood Hotel on Hornby. I walked in and within a few minutes, I was in a fitting room with a wonderful selection. Very COVID friendly. Bras that don't work are set aside for 24 hours. Lovely selection of high end underwear, lingerie and sleepwear. Worth a visit. This isn't La Vie en Rose. Bras are $150 and up. Worth every penny though. Thanks ladies for a wonderful visit

All I can say is I hope this store never closes. I have a very hard to find 'size' and never knew what it was like to wear a bra that really fit until I had a fitting here about 15 years ago. I also learned that, just because a bra says it is your 'size' doesn't mean it 'fits'. I've tried other high end 'specialty' shops here and I can honestly say none have ever spent as much time with me personally as the staff at La Jolie Madame do to make sure I go home with a bra that REALLY fits. To me it's better to pay a bit more money and have one or two bras that are comfortable and quality that lasts than to have to constantly be buying cheaper bras because they're too uncomfortable and lose their shape so end up costing just as much anyway. Quality, service, comfort, over cheap.

I had a fantastic experience today with the help of Marie! She was incredibly helpful, kind, professional, gave several (great) suggestions, and helped me find my new bra size. She made this bra shopping adventure a good one - not once did I feel uncomfortable or shy about my body as she made me feel completely at ease with no judgements :) Thank you so much, Marie!

Lovely Bras, all fit beautifully. However I feel scammed as I was never informed that they did not do returns or exchanges, as I was told that making a return should be no issue if need be.Lesson being don't make a purchase unless you are 110% sure about it.

I visit Vancouver periodically and always try to visit this boutique. They carry lines which are difficult to find elsewhere. Very good quality merchandise from Switzerland. Excited to check out the new store!

I should have paid attention to the only review regarding this lingerie boutique. The reviewer was very accurate in their description. I visited La Jolie Madame on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. The sales lady was haughty, unfriendly and unhelpful. She is a woman of considerable proportions. While I have no issue with a person's body image (I am a large woman myself), I felt she did not lend any feminism, mystique or sexiness to the boutique's image or products. The lingerie is rather pricey so I would expect a level of service above and beyond that found in other similar establishments.

If I could I would give this store half a star. That would be for the staff's knowledge of lingerie and sizes. They are well trained in that but when it comes to customer service it's certainly different! I have worked in the retail and wholesale industry for over 15 years so I know how things goes. I have never experienced a more horrible service before I shopped at this store! The staff has a bad attitude and talk rude to their customers. Their return and exchange policy is awful! The manager is impossible to get a hold of. No one in this store will take responsibility. It's a stuck up, unprofessional store that I unfortunately can never recommend to anyone!
