Great selection and decent sale prices. Don't forget your membership card or tel number! Almost too much variety in the bakery/deli section as alot of price tags are absent or misplaced. Does offer online ordering for delivery/pickup.

Save On, or Lose-On as I like to call it, continues it's tradition of being the absolute worst grocery store, by far, in the lower mainland with this location. All I care about is prices. If you are the same, just don't shop at SaveOn. I will go in for 1 or 2 items if I happen to be right beside one, today I got some milk here. It's funny when they advertise something proudly at the end of the aisles like it's a good price. Like cereal, regular size for $6. Or the No Name chocolate bars for $2, the same ones that are literally a $1.10 at Walmart everyday, not on sale. Think about that, their sale price is double the regular price of Walmart. And they have like $9 baked goods on sale for like $7.90. Like come on. They won't even give you a decent discount off their extremely overly priced items. They're very greedy. And then all those stupid sales "buy two and get it for this price" but they don't tell you whether you still get the sale if you buy one of them. Trying to trick people into thinking they need to buy two. Most places don't do this anymore, it will say the individual price on the tag in smaller font. Not SaveOn, they write in small letters "individual price: x". -vBut that's still ambiguous and they know it. Does this tactic actually work on people?Honestly I have no idea how LoseOn has managed to build so many stores and stay in business when No Frills, Walmart and Superstore exist. Maybe shoppers in BC are just dumb lol.

Worst check out. At least 50% of the time I am over charged for items or that are wrongly entered and the attitude of the staff is ‘whatever’. Tired of having to audit all my receipts and complaining. Not worth my time coming to this location or Save On at all. Management is clearly not addressing these issues…

Gurtej is by far one of their best cashiers. He assisted me at checkout and is a kind young lad. We had a little chat about his future aspirations and he has very ambitious goals. I wish him all the best.

I was blown away by the excellent service by the pharmacy staff. I needed to fill an asthma puffer irgentky due to wildfire smoke, and was told by other pharmacies in the area that they couldn't fill my prescription until at least lunch time the next day... the pharmacist at Save-on told me over the phone that he could fill it the same day before they close, so I rushed there to get it filled. He filled it on the spot while I stood at the counter. 5 stars for the pharmacy experience, but the store in general is very conveniently located with underground parking. I was happy to get grocery shopping done quickly in the sanlme trip.

Recently I purchased a small pastry dish at Save-On-Foods at Highgate Mall in Burnaby on August 31, 2023. A posted tag indicated it was on sale for $3.49 so because it appeared to be on sale, I purchased it. However, I discovered when I returned home that I was charged $4.49. A difference of a small amount but because of principal, I returned to the store to complain on September 2 with my receipt and the original package. I spoke to customer service and a manager. The sale tag by the way was still posted in the bakery section of the store. They said I should have noticed that the sale for this item was only until August 30. They showed me the tag which stated the August 30 date sale end price. It was in very small print at the bottom of the tag. I told them that the customer looks at the price of an item which is in large print and not the date that the sale is over in small print. This is misleading. Also the fact that the sale tag was still posted on September 2 when the sale was over on August 30, was also misleading. However, they stayed firm in their argument that the sale price was over after I purchased it and they would not honor the sale price. This despite the fact the tag showing the sale price of $3.49 was still posted on September 2, 2023. Consequently, I told them that they have lost a regular customer for a cost of $1.00. They did not appear to be concerned. I will no longer shop at Save-On- Foods again due to lack of customer service and misleading advertising.

Really loved this store. All the workers are very helpful. A gentle cashier lady named BEE__ (didn't see after that on the name badge) was really kind and helpful with me.

A little pricier than Superstore, but the difference in quality is obvious, in all areas.Staff puts their best smile on, and foods all look fresh and inviting. Narrow aisles make for more products, but it also gets a little crowded challenging, maneuvering your cart on a busy day.

Long line ups. They need self serve. Also, the produce quality is lacking often. They need to have a pinpad where one can enter their save on card phone number. Repeating your number to a cashier and the general public makes the checkout process way longer and it's infuriating.

I rarely shop here due to its prices, but I find this location fairly convenient. Anyhow, the other day I was trying to find the freshest batch of organic strawberries for a picnic party and there wasn’t any good ones out. I asked this worker who went by the name“Tej” and he went to the back to get new strawberries. He was very caring and offered more assistance. This store has workers better than half of the other grocery stores in Vancouver.

Like empty shelves? This is your store. They are always out of three or four items on your grocery list. It’s great that Jimmy Pattison will eventually make his money off you in this neighbourhood, between Save On, Nesters and Buy Low, but why should you have to go to all three to get even basics on your list? This Save On is always out of stock on basic items.
