I have visited this location many times over the years, and unfortunately I find that the customer service continues to just get worse. Most of the beauty advisors seem to be quite snarky and lack patience when helping. Their knowledge also seems to be limited when asked for advice on beauty product for specific needs and they are not interested in working with you to find the best product for your needs. This is not a one off event, I shop at Sephora frequently. The last time I was there (a week ago) I ended up leaving without purchasing the products I came for and bought online instead. Personally, I find that the customer service from Sephora online, including the online beauty advisors to be significantly better. Sephora online shopping is a MUCH better experience than this store location.

I scheduled a make-up appointment 3 weeks before the special event. Within less than 24-hour notice my appointment was cancelled by email. I called the store, and the person on the phone refused to offer any compensation, which I believe was reasonable to expect on my end as there is no way I can schedule a different appointment elsewhere in such a short amount of time. If I had to cancel on them, I would've been charged the full prize regardless of the cancellation reason. This is such an awful treatment of the customer in a situation where the business is clearly at the wrong. A good reason to order from elsewhere from this point on.

Absolutely thrilled with the eyebrows waxing and tinting service! The expert attention to detail and skillful application of tinting left my eyebrows looking flawless. Daniela was incredibly professional and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Highly recommend this service for anyone looking for perfect brows!

Please note that the cashier punches the the check for the goods is not the same as what you bought, but repeats what is more expensive several times! I believe that the store in this way deceives its customers! Always check the check so that you are not cheated! This is very unseemly for a store of this level! I want to be refunded the difference from the actual purchase!Instead of cleanser I was writing two lipsticks on the receipt, but I bought one and the lipstick is more expensive than the cleanser!

I LOVE this store! They have a huge and incredible selection of makeup, skincare and hair products. I have had the best experiences with the staff at this particular location, their recommendations have always been really helpful and they seem to be very knowledgeable on the products. If they happen to be out of stock on a product your looking for you can order it online, they also offer same-day delivery. My only criticism is that they don’t give you samples with purchases like they used to, so if you want samples with your purchase then you are better off ordering online. However, if you are looking for something new or want to try something out then this location has you covered.

I will never shop at Sephora. PeriodI’ve been a long term loyal customer of Sephora. Too bad they don’t hire people with good customer service skills cause clearly a lot of these staff are lying in the interview process. Their were four staff at the cash wrap; one staff was helping a customer and the others were chatting amongst themselves. I was at the front of the line and no one was behind me. All three of them ignored me. I guess because I was only one person in the line up I didn’t matter, or it was because of me personally. Not sure why I would be ignored. Isn’t that their job to help customers. ??♀️

One single really rude cashier with a lot of attitude for no reason?? Called us up to the register then had us wait while she talked about non-work related stuff for a few minutes. But the rudeness and attitude that followed is really what makes me go out of my way to leave a review. Never had such rude service in my entire life of living in Vancouver.

I went into Sephora today to get a retinol + vitamin C serum and Jay was SO helpful and kind when I asked which ones he recommended! He was so knowledgeable and gave me his top 3 products for each that were in alignment with my goals/budget, and gave me the pros and cons of each. I am so happy I asked him for help. :) Pic of the ones I got! For reference I asked which ones would be best for beginners.

All the staff are extremely helpful and sweet. I was able to find the products I wanted. Billing was super easy. This shop has great variety.

Carly was really helpful today when I needed help choosing a lipstick that worked with my skin tone. She even showed me some options after for face oils and gave me helpful tips for application. -1 star because the staff at the Metrotown location weren’t helpful when I had questions.

Terrible branch of Sephora. Located inside the mall. The service in the store is terrible. The sellers aren't willing to help and just transferring you from one to the other. I recommend buying at the branch on Robson Street. There stands a saleswoman at the entrance and makes sure that a saleswoman comes to help. Much more pleasant there.

Staff are quite rude. I asked a member of staff if they had a certain item in stock and she rolled her eyes at me and said “it might be in the mini’s section”. She then walked off and didn’t even ask me to follow her and then when I went up to where she was looking for it, she just stood there and didn’t even offer to check in the back or availability in other stores. The item also showed as in stock on the website so she was being pure lazy.

5 star experience strictly for Jaden the resident skin care specialist. They were fantastic and laid down some serious knowledge! Jaden was incredibly patient and helped me find some great products I’m confident will work for me!

Saki is the best advisor at this store. She helped me choose the right products for my skin tone. She has excellent customer service skills and great sense of humour.
