I came in and subscribed to earn a free trial size product, at the end I told the sephora employee "thank you have a nice day" and she replied "bye" without even looking at me. WHAT A ROBOT!

One of the best Sephora stores in Vancouver. Definitely better than Pacific center! Sanam (she is a beauty advisor) was very nice and helpful to me shopping Christmas gifts.

This review is for Mikaela! She was very patient and took her time showing me all these different lip liner options. I was not very confident which shade would be best for me but I decided to trust her choice and go for it. (makeup by Mario lip liner in the shade Lauren) The colour match is amazing!! It’s perfect for all the lip colours I love to wear and is exactly the right tone for my natural lip colour. Thank you so much for your help!

Service was great I was happy to get the help I needed when asking for a gift for men's beard stuff, the lady with the braids did a great job, only thing I found out minus the star was finding no help when you enter and as always having to hunt down a staff member to help, out of that I used to be a member so it sucks having to restart as I rarely go into sephora now, wish they carried Azzaro mens perfume.

His friendly and professional approach made the whole experience enjoyable. Thank you, Murtaza, for going above and beyond – your expertise and excellent service truly stood out! Highly recommend seeking his help if you're shopping at Sephora.

I had a truly frustrating experience at Sephora that I feel compelled to share. I went in excited to treat myself with a professional makeup application for a fashion show I was attending. I told the artist that I wanted her to have full creative freedom, with the only specific request being that my eyeshadow look nice and that I feel beautiful. I also mentioned that because of my hooded eyelids, she should be careful with the eyeshadow and lashes. She assured me she understood.
Unfortunately, it was clear she didn’t. First, the shade she chose for my foundation was completely off, leaving me with an unnatural skin tone. Then, when it came to the lashes, she applied them incorrectly—on my eyelid instead of the lash line. For the eyeshadow, she opted for light brown tones, claiming it was to avoid "distracting from my earrings." But that wasn’t what I had asked for at all. I kept trying to trust the process, but it only got worse. At one point, I had to take the lash off myself and show her how to apply it properly. When I pointed out the mistake, she told me, “Oh, I didn’t want to irritate your eye,” but I knew that wasn’t the case—she just didn’t know what she was doing.
She tried to cover it up with thick black liner, which only made the situation worse, and she kept saying, “It won’t stay down.” I explained that the issue was layering the liner and lashes immediately after one another, but it didn’t seem to register with her.
In the end, I looked awful. My husband even laughed when he saw the result because it was so far from what I had hoped for. I had to rush home to remove everything and barely made it to my event on time. To make matters worse, Hailey pointed out a tip option at the end, which felt completely absurd considering I was about to wash off $70 worth of makeup that I didn’t even want. Needless to say, I didn’t tip.
I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone. The experience was disappointing, and I left feeling frustrated and upset.

Walked in earlier on in the week wanting to just make a return that I made during the sale. I asked the staff at the counter (her name was imaobong) if I would be able to make an exchange for the same item but a different shade which she confirmed. As I walked away from the counter, to grab the item she told me to just come back another day (it was 8:45pm, and granted they did close at 9pm but I already knew what I wanted and where it was) I went to get the right item to exchange for the one I mistakenly ordered online and walked back to the counter within 5 mins. She was rude throughout the entire transaction, made unnecessary comments and clearly had no idea what she was doing (2 other management associates came, and it ended up being one of them to finish my transaction).

I was at the sephora sale today and bought a perfume, and I was a VIB, so everything was 15% off. When I got to the counter to pay for the item, I asked the lady if the 15% off was added in the total amount I needed to pay, and she said yes. However, it wasn't since I calculated the price of the perfume plus tax minus 15% off before the purchase, and I already knew how much I would need to pay. The total amount she showed me was higher than the amount I needed to pay... It worked out at the end, but it definitely wasn't a pleasant experience. I also asked if there's any sample I could get, and she just straight up said no. Not even a single one. Like I purchased an expensive perfume and asked for a sample, and she straight up said no, even though I could clearly see that they do have samples in the back. It was a terrible experience.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at the Sephora Robson store. I had booked an appointment for a makeover and was informed that I could request to have the service conducted in the mezzanine area, which I did. However, upon arrival, I was told by the manager (Ana) that the mezzanine was closed due to company policy.
Despite this setback, the makeup artist proceeded with the service. However, the experience was far from satisfactory. The store was extremely busy, likely due to the start of the savings event on November 7th. During my appointment, at least three different customers interrupted the makeup artist seeking assistance. This is unfair to paying clients who expect a dedicated and uninterrupted service experience. I understand the need to assist all customers, but I believe there should be a better system in place to avoid disrupting scheduled services.
The makeup artist did an amazing job and tried to help everyone as much as she could.
I hope this feedback helps improve customer experience, especially during peak times.
