As always this Staples has the WORST customer service consistently, especially their shipping department. We came in and immediately the shipping lady said “rule is 5 packages per person”. When I asked where this is displayed, she said it’s not. Wow, is this even legal? Also my kiddo’s packages (she was carrying hers with mine) were not considered even though they were her packages, so it seems it only applies to 18+ adults. Super inconvenient and horrible service.

We have ordered printing jobs 3 times and not a single time has it been smooth. The people behind the printing counter are very rude and it’s apparent that customer service is not a priority. They talk amongst themselves and ignored me after I made eye contact and was waiting to be attended to. They printed out thank you cards wrong. Then when they “fixed” it, they didn’t not add the gloss like I ordered it originally. I did not have the time to ask them to fix it a second time. We will never be coming back and we are now doing our printing at London Drugs.
When I picked up my order, they would just put it on the counter and walk away without a “sorry about that”/“thank you”/“have a good day”. Nothing.
Avoid printing here at all costs!

⭐☆☆☆☆ Dishonest and unhelpful staff
Went to Staples Grandview during the Boxing Day sale to buy an iPad. One staff member told me they were out of stock without even checking, and made up a story. I looked online and it clearly showed they had stock. When I asked another salesperson, they confirmed it was available. Seems like some staff might be holding items for their friends or relatives instead of helping actual customers. Very disappointing experience.

I will give them 0 star if I could. The staff, including the 'manager' are all rude and not helpful. I hope they close this store so they can all get unemployed!!

I’m genuinely confused as to why Amazon partners with Staples for returns, given Amazon’s stated goal of making returns as simple as possible. I’ve used this Staples location for Amazon returns three times, and every single experience has been unnecessarily difficult.
Most recently, I returned an item that was originally shipped to me flat-packed. Amazon immediately generated a return with a QR code and clear instructions stating: “Bring the item(s) you’re returning to any Staples location. Staples will pack, label, and ship your return.” Despite this, I was told I needed to purchase a box. When I refused, because the instructions explicitly state Staples handles the packaging, the associate told me she could not accept the return.
When I asked if someone else could help, instead of walking over to get assistance, the associate simply stood on her tiptoes and looked toward coworkers at the register. I was on a work deadline and, rather than receiving any problem-solving or support, I ended up grabbing my drill, getting on my knees, and disassembling the item myself on the store floor, all while I had my child with me.
Throughout this process, the associate neither apologized nor acknowledged the inconvenience. She ignored me entirely while I disassembled the item and showed no courtesy when I handed it back with the QR code. She didn’t even say goodbye. The experience was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional.
I have a corporate account with Staples and based on REPEATED poor experiences and clear staffing and training issues, I will not be doing further business with Staples or supporting their business in ANY capacity until these problems are addressed.

Terrible experience. I came in just to ship a package, and the salesman Paul wouldn’t stop aggressively pushing a new phone plan on me. I refused multiple times, said I was in a hurry, and he still kept going, then had the nerve to say I was acting “fishy.” Completely unprofessional and honestly ridiculous behavior.
The only good part of my visit was the girl at the shipping counter, she was actually kind and helpful. The rest was a waste of time.

The poor shipping/printing lady is absolutely swarmed while everyone else just hangs out. They need to hire more people or at least train the other employees for shipping.
The homie at the front did grab me a discount without my asking though so +1 star.

Came in around 10:30 am and the woman in pink working the Print Solutions counter was rude. The Print Solutions area was busy, meanwhile the rest of the store was practically empty with staff standing around. I called over to the staff near the registers and asked if someone could come help at the Print counter, and the staff member in pink said, “We’re busy. If you can’t wait, then leave.”
Rude, but she clearly needed help since she was running the entire area by herself while the other staff stood around chatting. Are the staff here not trained to step up where needed? Does teamwork not exist here?
I’ve been coming to this location for over a decade and regularly use the Print Solutions area. It has always been the norm here that only one person works the entire print and shipping section alone. Ethically, it shouldn’t be. That single staff member is doing the workload of multiple people on one shift, by themselves. They should be paid the wages of 2–3 people per hour for the amount of work they’re expected to manage.

Went there to put through an Amazon return of material.
Helpful staff and a quick return carried out. Browsed through the sore and purchased a couple of items that caught my eye.
Very close to Renfrew Skytrain Station.
