Have shopped here for years whenever I’m in the area. They always have a great collection and I’m always able to walk away with good finds. I love that the store is large enough but small enough so you can do a couple pass throughs and not feel overwhelmed.
Dropped off my first ever bag of clothing back in the summer and received store credit on the spot. Keep in mind the styles and brands they sell in store and you won’t walk away disappointed when you consign. A fantastic way to shop sustainably. I typically take my fast fashion goodies to other stores as they don’t really belong here.

Such a good consignment store! I’ve dropped off lots of pieces with them and they always take a bunch at a reasonable price. But I also do a lot of shopping there; have found some amazing gems! Definitely recommend.

Very poor experience! Came and brought three boxes took a lot of time to organize and drove a long time, only to be told that only one pair of shoes could be accepted but not if it was just one. Very inexplicable, and many of my other clothes are seasonally appropriate, brand new, and even some branded. Will never come back, very hurtful to guests.

I came to drop of clothes and the website said theyre looking for seasonal-fall items which was exactly what I had, I dropped off 2 bags (1 of clothes, and 1 that had aldo heels and some niche specialty vans). Before I left I peaked around the store making note of the brands, lots of Wilfred, Oak and Fort, Aldo purse, the exact stuff i was bringing.
"We are unable to take your items as they arent the right season or brand" is what i got from them. I had 1 year old items, fall (a leather jacket?) Items, stuff the same brands as in store... and i said really, nothing? And she repeated the same sentence. Thats that i guess.
Not to mention, maybe they are super good at putting clothes back but my items were folded and placed in the EXACT way i gave them... the shoe boxes were taped, and came back to me seemingly untouched so im not sure they looked at my stuff?
I wont be returning. Im more pissed i wasted my time, should have trusted the reviews.

The Main Exchange is a MUST for all things consignment. Their prices are competitive, and they only accept quality items that are in great shape. I have found so many gems here, from vintage knit sweaters, to Aritzia jeans! They have it ALL!
I find the customer service to be lovely. They are there when you need help, but also let you shop in peace, and browse without feeling suffocated. My favourite activity is grabbing a latte and heading here to find my next sustainable wardrobe staple.

Rude and shady employees. Make sure you don't get scammed with them esp if you're selling! They lowball you and then lie about how much they will be selling your item for. When they give you a total payout offer, make sure you ask for a breakdown for each item. Keep them accountable.EDIT TO REPLY TO THEM: None of their response addresses the issue I brought up. I am well aware of the percentages etc. When I was there, they took many of my items, and gave me a total payout. I accepted. I asked how much they will be selling each item and I took note. Then I found out they lowballed me as they ended up selling the items for a lot higher than what they quoted me. Considering the percentage, my payout should have been higher. Either the employees or the owner is being dishonest and trying scam their clientele. Or both.

Not the best shopping experience as someone else has already pointed out. I just feel undoubtedly uncomfortable shopping here. Some of their Aritzia branded clothing are selling at a higher price than Aritzia brand new. For instance, I can find the same item at Aritzia on the website on sale for cheaper. I actually prefer other consignment stores down the road as you can find better bargains and you have a more comfortable shopping experience.I agree with Jessie Lo's review below.

Always have a lovely selection of clothing, and it is sorted by size and colour, making it easier to gravitate towards the stuff you're most interested in. I was able to get a lovely new blazer with the tags still on for a great price. In addition to the great clothing selection, the staff are lovely and attentive!

Always find unique, like-new, stylish pieces to add to my wardrobe here. As a plus size girly, it’s sometimes hard to shop second hand. Main Exchange always has options for me in sought-after name brands for awesome prices. Plus they pay you to recycle your clothes! Love this place & all the employees that work here ?

Cute store with a nice selection of curated finds! They have a beautifully managed Instagram account.Staff seems friendly but will also give you space if that's what you prefer.
