I ordered from the take home menu and it was a great experience.Much of the menu requires you to do some simple cooking (no prep), but they’ve set the price point accordingly and the ordering is really easy online.Picking up the food was also really well thought out. You enter under Rogers Arena and there is music playing and greeters who retrieve your order. They threw in a Canucks cup full of popcorn and a playoff towel as well.As for the food, the cooking instructions were easy and it was delicious. Portions were good and they didn’t skimp on things (like the chorizo, shrimp and scallops for the paella). We got the paella, heirloom beat and burrito salad, wild mushrooms, truffle roast chicken and some chocolate chip cookies and were very happy with the meal.

We visited Hawksworth recently while visiting Vancouver for business. The food at Hawksworth was incredible. I had the halibut and it was cooked perfectly. However, when you are paying this much for a meal its about the entire experience. We felt the whole experience was sub par with restaurants we have been too in other cities of equal caliber. The decor with it's calm colors and beautiful fireplaces suggested a relaxing intimate setting. But our experience was just the opposite. There were more people in the bar / lounge area than in the restaurant. It was so noisy I could barely hear the sever or my spouse whom was sitting across from me.

Disappointing, under seasoned dishes and service was painfully slow. So slow wine pairings and silverware came out after some dishes. Dishes didn't seem to make any sense on the plate. The dining room was crammed and very loud, you are easily in everyone's conversations around you and can barely hear the one at your table. Expect more for the money spent.

The restaurant is lovely and the service was excellent, but I did have an issue with my meal. I ordered the tuna, cooked rare, but it was served on a plate so hot the tuna cooked half way through while I was eating. It even stuck to the plate so I had to pry it off. Sort of a random problem but it made for a disappointing meal.

A spectacular dining experience. Dined at Hawksworth for the first time along with my wife and adult son as this seemed like a suitable venue for a special occasion diner. From the greeting at reception until we departed the entire evening was superb and dare I say memorable. Service was exceptional. Unpretentious and personable with an impressive knowledge of every detail of the menu. Sommelier happily, and expertly, paired individual wines with individual dishes and provided a thorough explanation of her recommendations as she personally delivered her selections to the table. No one in our party could find event the slightest flaw with any dish ordered. Appetizers included an innovative squash "salad" , flavourful carrot soup and a plentiful octopus dish. Mains selected were the duck breast with a bit of a Mexican flair, Parmesan chicken and a succulent lamb loin all cooked to perfection. Thank you Hawksworth for our memorable dining experience.

This is a tremendous restaurant but surprisingly the last two times I have eaten here the time lapse between ordering a cocktail and receiving it has been inordinately long. Everything else about the experience is tremendous however they really need to do something about this one aspect of the service.

Hawksworth is quite the dining experience - the food is wonderful and the ambiance is elegant but comfortable. Starting in the lounge with a few drinks and an appetizer, they seamlessly moved us into the dining room once our table was ready. The tasting menu with the wine pairing was fantastic and there were a few pairings that were simply out-of-this-world (Plum Sake with assorted cheeses for example). I would highly recommend Hawksworth. It was a very special evening.

We wanted lunch on a Saturday afternoon but could only get the brunch menu. Maybe make it clear on the website that lunch menu is only served on weekdays. Another table nearby also wanted lunch. When I think brunch, I think Sunday... Servers were lovely!

Our night at Hawksworth was fabulous. The atmosphere was perfect in both the bar and the restaurant. The service was outstanding. Attentive, but not intrusive. Professional, but not too uptight. The staff had excellent recommendations, and knowledge of the menu. Most importantly, the food and beverages were delicious. We are looking forward to our next chance to visit again.

Very overpriced. Food not up to the level of the cost. Wine list very expensive. Service was just OK. Very noisy needs some work on the acoustics. Would not recommend unless on an expense account.

When I booked on-line, I mentioned that we would be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. When we arrived, and again when we left, all the staff seemed to know that and congratulated us. We also got a congratulations card signed by the owner-chef. We both had a legacy cocktail and then the taster menu. The food was superb, and so were all of the drinks. I was once a waiter myself, so I know and appreciate good, professional service. This was tops: the sommelier and our waiter were both attentive, courteous, friendly and well-informed, ready to give advice when asked but not intruding it otherwise. My wife and I agree that this was the best restaurant experience we have ever had at a Vancouver restaurant, and one of the 5-10 best we have had in restaurants all over the world, in Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Africa. Drawbacks: for a brief period, due to the diners at an adjoining table, there was more noise than we would have liked; and the meal was quite expensive. But we feel we got value for the money, and we will definitely be back.

The food was outstanding! The room is not my favourite......tables close and decor very average. I do have difficulty with the noise level. It was difficult to have a conversation.

A knockout dining experience! Start with the room - amazing ambiance and decor although lighting was an issue trying to read the menu. Service was very good, polished and professional. Kudos to the sommelier who assisted us with our wine choices for the evening which paired perfectly with our food. Standout dishes were the beef neck raviolo, duck breast and lamb loin. I have to say that each dish was perfect, and I would have them again. Hawksworth is a must go restaurant when in Vancouver, we made the trip from Victoria and will do so again.
