Amreetpal was very swift on opening my vancity account. Was able to fit me in without an appointment. Only downside is that this branch isn’t open on Mondays, which is very strange for a financial institution. The whole process was smooth, I got everything I needed to be done within 15 minutes. Great service.

The tellers here are like Robots. Zero emotions, honestly it looks like they hate their job lol ? you work in public and dealing with people/customers all day. At least pretend you don't hate your job. Say Hi say Bye something other than frowning. I get it you can have bad days, but you can't have bad days everyday? Absolutely pathetic how slow the service is on Monday afternoon of a regular work week. Family day is next Monday, folks! That’s the holiday.I have recently switched my primary financial institution to TD Canada Trust and I have no regrets.Do better Vancity. Losing the Gen Z clientele.

I am impressed with Vancity and this branch in particular. I just recently opened an account here and my experience was nothing shy of stellar.First, I was able to book an appointment nearly the same day. After a short phone conversation, I had my accounts ready to go. Then I met with my account manager David Lan in the branch to sign documents. David went above and beyond to explain everything and personally walked me to a teller to deposit money and then to the ATM to set a PIN. Then David promptly replied to my questions via email.Second, when I logged in to the online bank, they immediately asked me to setup two-factor authentication. That's the level of security I expect from my bank. Most banks don't have that and their customers get hacked easily.Third, I've been to the branch a few times already, and both times I had zero wait time to talk to a teller. Malu was very helpful, friendly and sharp. Great pleasure to be working with her.Finally, what impressed me the most was when I submitted a compliment to Vancity through their website, their branch manager Pardip Johal personally followed up with me.Look no further. You will not get a better experience with any other bank in Vancouver.
