Terrible experience!Went for a burrito bowl with extra protein. Asked for extra salsa. The girl who served me said no bc it was already 1lb? First of all, it was one pound because I added extra protein. I didn’t even get rice because I can’t eat any right now. Just terrible! Having no salsa = no flavour. I asked for no onion and the girl threw some in. I told her again and she picked it out begrudgingly. Made the eating experience unpleasant. I think you need to train your staff better

Been buying these soups weekly for the last 3 YEARS and only in the last few weeks has Wholefoods starts filling them less yet still charging $8.99. I remember when these used to be $6.99. If you’re going to fill them less then charge less! Price gouging customers just like their LobLaw competitors.

Been to this place since it was open in this location more than dozen years ago. You can still find a very good selection of reasonably priced organic product here. However, the hot food departments quality has been in decline over the years. You can no longer order real Italian style pizzas nor sandwiches like it was five/ six years ago.The worst, are the people currently working there. A good number of them clearly don't want to work there, and have no clue about "customer service". Good employees are few and far between.Wifi there won't work about 90% of the time.So much of premium shopping experience... Original Park Royal location still have that, as well as other locations in the US, but sadly no longer the case in this Vancouver city hall location.

I always loved this store and trusted the prepared food for quality as well as taste. Last evening I threw out the salmon and chicken breast I bought from the prepared food counter. It tasted old, my cat who usually loves the salmon walked away. I believe they are using a cheaper oil. Not sure because the customer service counter was too busy. Also, they used to half the rotisserie chicken for those who can’t eat a whole one. Not anymore apparently. Super disappointed in the store lately.

The produce section is always fresh, and the prepared foods are a real time-saver for busy days. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the store is clean and well-organized. It's my go-to place for healthy, sustainable, and delicious groceries.

Underwhelming, I honestly felt that there would be more things here from the States but it's just a regular grocery store with emphasis on non-gmo / organic food. I did appreciate that they have a cafeteria with many vegan and whole food options.

Whole Foods says on its website that it does custom cakes. I phoned to order a cake and was rudely told that they don't do custom cakes. I tried to order one of their regular cakes and was told - again with no apology or effort to be courteous - that they were all booked up and couldn't take any orders. My family loves the bakery at Whole Foods and this attitude from the staff was really disappointing.

Wide selection of organic fruit, vegetables and every thing organic, soaps, oils, essential oils. The bakery! Carrot cake is a dream

This addresses mostly their turkey stuffing. For two years now all they offer is frozen which thaws into an inedible mush. Having this fresh from Whole Foods and Capers before that was a Thanksgiving and Christmas tradition for us. I can't believe that they would knowingly sell this trash for a second year. BTW there are so many empty shelves that I rarely find anymore my favourites like quiche Lorraine. Going to the bigger one on 8th and Cambie doesn't help because they are out of the same things as the smaller one on Robson. Ambiance suffers from thinking about their apparently having fired many of their cashiers and replaced them with check-out machines.

Overall I like Whole Foods and the selection of healthier, whole foods options had us as regular customers. My low rating is due to the self serve checkouts installed recently at the Cambie Street, Vancouver location. To charge the high prices that WF does, and then eliminate the basic element of customer service, cut jobs and subsequent cash flow to the local economy is just not something I can support. We will be shopping elsewhere.

Self checkouts are the worst I’ve ever used, also I’m already bagging my own groceries at this location, when do I get put on payroll. Items fell off the tiny table they use, they have items that when you pick them from the screen it shows up as an error, and an unintuitive key system. I was a teller when I was a teenager - why is this more complicated? I had to have the 1 person they had to oversee help me 4 times! Why are we paying a premium for this place now?

As a long term regular customer I never imagined in my retirement I would be [forced] to become an 'employee' with the introduction of the self check outs! I thought one of the reasons I'm paying 40% more for groceries is for the quality, selection AND for a human to scan and bag my purchases; followed by a thank you! I understand some may like the convenience yet I remain absolutely sadden that a trillion dollar regime would reduce its workforce in order to increase their bottom line.

The new self service check-outs are the most counter intuitive and inefficient way to check out produce, I have no idea why they would implement it. Most of us just grab apples - we don't remember when we get to the till if they are gala, spartan, or something else. Is this a Bosc pear? An Anjou? A Bartlett? And so on. After years of being a regular customer at Cambie WF, I'll be shopping there a lot less.

Tonight I went into whole foods and picked up a couple things, I am a 33 year old woman who looks pretty healthy although I suffer from fibromyalgia and chronic pain and was in the middle of a flare up tonight. I ended up putting a couple too many things in my basket, and when I got to the till, I couldn't carry anything anymore. I asked the lady I'd I could get help out to my car (which was on the street right outside the door, I know it doesn't seem far but for someone in a lot of pain it is). The lady said I needed to ask customer service, so when the young man walked past the till I was at I asked for help, his reply was that it was very busy and he would try to find someone to help. The store was pretty empty. There were two to three tills that the cash registers weren't serving anyone, and other employees walking around. The self-service man did not call anyone for help and just stood at his desk seemly not doing anything. The cash register lady ended up helping the lady after me and decided to leave her till and carry out my groceries herself. She was amazing, and I loved her service. Unfortunately, I'm giving this a 2 star review because of the young man who looked upset at me for even asking and then getting help out. I just want to say, just because someone looks physically able to do something doesn't always mean that is the case, if I was an elderly person I would've had no push back at all about asking for help. I'm pretty disappointed in the self-service person. But whomever the lady who helped me out to my car was, she deserve a raise.

The past 8 years I have been giving this location all my money. Always stocked with fresh produce. Everyone working here is lovely and the skill level they have to tetris pack groceries is next level.
