Safeway Vernon Square is a favorite store for many, noted for its good prices, good in stock sales, and excellent meat selection. The location has a new look with a recently renovated interior and exterior, and is described as nice, clean, and well stocked. Staff are highlighted as friendly, attentive, and respectful, with specific praise for their positive and personal customer service. The new Scene+ points system is also appreciated. Some note that prices can be expensive. The store offers fresh products daily and supports charitable programs.
The staff are absolutely wonderful... well stocked, lots of variety...

This Safeway is on a of the best I've been to. The Deli is amazing. The selection of baked goods like spanikopita, samosas, sausage rolls, that delicious. Plus the sushi selection offers in store made and quite a few options. The store was clean and finding products was easy. Really good selection of products.
