Was texted “your total will be $700.” So I get there and they changed that to $975. No explanation why, no apology, just a smug associate shrugging his shoulders.That’s the last time I take my car here. Beware of being quoted something and then being charged something else. Borderline criminal.

These guys are amazing! Always quick to help and super friendly! They checked my tires when a dash light came on and explained why. Made some adjustments for me and I was on my way with dash light fixed and tires all same setting. Thank you thank you guys!! ?

Took my truck in for a wheel alignment and and they tried lying to me about having troubles doing it and I should come back the next day. My truck was never looked at or even pulled into the alignment bay. Showed up 30 minutes early and waited 1 1/2 hours for incompetent mechanics.

I came here a couple weeks back. All I can say is that as a woman sometimes its intimidating going to an autoshop but this place was amazing. The staff were incredibly nice and I got quick text updates on my car. Great service, great staff, great establishment. Thank you guys!

Bad customer service. Took my car in after I had a flat, paid around $700 for some tire replacements, an alignment and an oil change. Picked up my car and it started making a whirring sound when I drove. When I took my car back to inquire about the new sound following the work I had done, the staff were not helpful. I was told I would need to leave my car and that it may or may not be looked at that same day. I asked if they prioritized customers returning due to issues following a repair and was told no. Finally, as I’m signing some papers another customer comes in and asks if they would have time to squeeze them in right then and there and they said they could! Anyways, I appreciate the work the mechanics do but the whole experience with the customer service representatives was very bad and I will not be going back!

I am a LONG time customer of Canadian Tire. I go out of my way to visit every store I pass while travelling. My kids know it as "daddy's favourite store". I had a Canadian Tire credit card, until today. I get my vehicle serviced at one of their locations. I frequent other affiliated stores owned by the Canadian Tire corporation. So you can imagine my shock when I discovered a notice my vehicle would be towed for being in a parking lot they share with other businesses, of which I happened to be visiting today. Well, because of your actions today, I will no longer be a Canadian Tire customer, at any location or affiliated businesses. When I called to cancel my credit card, I was convinced to escalate the issue so they could keep my business, and pushed to stay on the phone when I needed to return to work, only to be hung up on while on hold. Well, I called back and cancelled it. Canadian Tire is no longer daddy's favourite store, and will never see another dime from me.

Went there for my tires a year ago and went there recently for a throttle issue. I had no issues and was treated well. I WIll go back probably from now on.

Had my Interprovincial ispection done here, the reservation went smoothly, brought car on time and they started working on it right away. Found one minor issue and repaired right away. Cost 150 for ispection and 150 for the minor repair. Everyone is proffesional.

I recently dropped off my girlfriends car to have the front tires replaced. After having the new tires installed, 80km later she noticed shaking and grinding noises in the front end. After inspecting, I found all three driver side lug bolts to be missing and the remaining two were barely hanging on. If you can’t hire mechanics competent enough to torque bolts after a simple tire change, you are going to have serious liability issues in the near future. Had she driven it for one more day she could’ve hurt/killed herself or others.

Needed a fan motor resistor for my car. Canadian Tire sold me one for $109. I should have shopped around. The same part is available from Amazon for $25. My fault for not doing my due diligence.

Did not want to go again through my dreadful experience with the Cedar Hill Canadian Tire but, later on, I thought I should. On June 10th 2023 I took my Explorer to Cedar Hill Can.Tire to check why my interior lights were off while all others were fine. There also was a slight smell of burning under my hood.When I arrived the lights were fine and I let Peter know that. I still decided to test my truck just in case. I was advised to change the batteries (I did right away) and wait for a week to fix smell of burning which was done on June the 20th. After I picked up my car the intense smell of gas, oil, burn... was filling up inside of my vehicle and so the Check engine sign was on. Also the ride was extremely rough and dangerous. I came right back. I asked Gary what was that horrible smell of fumes. He answered that somebody forgot to cover something... There were codes PO171 and PO174 on OBD sensor. I paid $1068.45 for the problem to be continued... I have requested a meeting with the manager. My friend and I had to wait for 50 min. which we did not mind as he was busy.Talking to Gary have not solved anything: they kept letting me back on a road with engine problems. I asked Gary, perhaps, to change a mechanic but he seemed to be personally offended by that. My last interaction with Gary was very unsatisfying and, perhaps, even rude as he drove away when I tried approaching him. I had to walk fast trying to catch up... He offered me to wait 12 days more before he could take my car in and we already were into almost mid July. Of course, I had to cancel my next appointment as I understood that after all money and time spent, there will be no quality service nor respect for the customer.Respect to Peter.
