Everyone was so helpful, and accommodating as I tried on what felt like the entire store looking for a new work wardrobe. In the end, I came out with 8 new work outfits, and I’ve been getting continuous compliments from my work colleagues ever since. Cannot wait to go back and do some more shopping.”

“Lovely store! I bought a nice sweater and have been using a lot since. Tho, I had a whole in it within the first two uses and that was quite upsetting. Fortunately, they offer free reparations for life! Now, it does take 3-4 weeks to get it back…
Anyway, been to this store three times before and the employees were always the best. They ask lots of questions and show interest in what you’re saying.”
“This is by far the best men's wear store in the city. I was looking for some nice clothes for a wedding and to update my wardrobe and saw a lot of different men's wear stores. A lot of places tried to make me suit their clothes instead of finding clothes and a look that suits me. The brothers who operate Straith's are warm and friendly and helped me bring to life the idea I had for my look. After I explained what I wanted and what I wanted it for, they immediately understood me. There was no pressure and no pushiness. They get it. I am really happy to have found this store. It's a real asset to the city that we have a store as great as Straith's. The clothes are fantastic and really great quality. I will be returning every time I am looking for new men's wear and recommending Straith's to all of my friends.”

“Wow! This vibrant creative space is perfectly situated on Johnson Street in the hub of downtown Victoria. My 5 year old daughter and I created a custom photo frame! We had access to loads of supplies, a Polaroid picture, and helpful staff. Very reasonably priced! We will be back!”

“I bought some clothes and a Cotopaxi backpack. Loved both. I initially thought the shirts were quite expensive but after traveling in 40+ degree heat in Japan and the ease of handwashing and drying these items, they are invaluable!! The backpack is comfortable to wear and spacious enough to easily carry 6 days worth of clothing and other gear.”

“We visited this women's store and it was full of a variety of stock. Ladies clothes from Sweden, Italy and Canada. leather bags, scarves, some shoes. Summer items are in and lovely lighter sweaters. My friend purchased a sheer type flowing top with pants that she will wear to a wedding. Also a casual tank in a good weight of fabric. Great table of colourful sun protection tops/shirts/shorts that can be wore around or to swim. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Just the right amount of attention. Associated store right beside to visit next.”

“How long has it been since you walked into a clothing store and were greeted by name? I haven't been into this wonderful shop in months, and yet Janice remembered me! She remembered my style, too, and had all sorts of suggestions to make about the myriad of new spring and summer pieces that had come in. It's never rushed here. You can take your time, have help when you want it, or be left to quietly browse on your own. What with the Italian linen, the Canadian bamboo fibre clothing, and lots in between, it's the perfect place to shop for women's clothes, both casual and business. But you have to get there early in the season! Their styles sell out really quickly. Ask Janice - she knows!”

“Decent store. Hard time finding things that fit. Many items were out of stock in several sizes. Probably because rhey were 40% ofc items. Would not want to pay full price though. Fittimg rooms were very busy and the customers in the store were not veey friendly, but the sraff were. Got most of what we needed and got out.”
“Loved this store!! I'm Caucasian, but was raised with a heavy Indian influence, and I fell in love with this store! The ladies are so sweet, and give great, honest recommendations. I'm finally able to find indian-inspired clothing that isn't necessarily a sari. Definitely going to be ordering online, as I live in central Alberta lol. The fabrics are gorgeous, and I love all the different styles of shirts, kraftans, dresses, pants, and skirts. Please visit if you love this style of clothing!! If you have trouble with sizing, please try things on to make sure you like how things fit.”
