There are a few staples I pickup at Costco. 33% cream is $4.99. Maple syrup 1 L for $13.99 eggs are a good price. Plus roasted chicken is cheap and very good. Clothing is excellent and inexpensive. Plus since Costco has its own agreements with brands. You will find that you get more in kits you buy. For example shaving blades kits may give you more blades with extras. I love discovering new products that they only carry.

Who doesn't love Costco but thet need to build another location. It's tooooooo busy. Even going in early on a weekday by 9am it's stupid how busy it gets. Sure it has all you need. I ALWAYS buy my Parmigiano reggiano and my Carmen peppers from there! And then there's the weird purchases like a bidet. Who knew Costco would have that! lol! And their vendors who provide the plants, Van Belle Nursery and Darvonda, fantastic quality and the best prices around! Costco never disappoints except for the line ups to pay and how busy it gets. At Xmas the lines started at the back of the store. Wow!

This morning, who is working at the food court. She might be so upset or feel bad?! I have no idea what is wrong with her. I ordered 4 hotdogs, and I asked if I could get small containers for carrying ketchup and mustard. She said no no no no..Did I ask that much really hard thing? Please do not allow to work like her or please do training perfectly!! If she doesn't feel like working, go home!! Why is she standing there and making feel bad to all the people..

Costco is THE BEST for shopping! It has everything from cereal to couches! The food court has pretty good pizza and ice cream. The parking lot is giant, insuring you that you'll get a spot. Costco is a huge store and I go there almost every week!

Horrible service, went three times to get my tires, always had incredible long and, frustrating wait times. In spite of paying for the tires in advance and having scheduled appointments, the tires were never in stock. To add to the bad experience I was unable to receive a refund online, “could only be in person”, had to drive back to the store. An absolute waste of time and money!A terrible experience, awful customer service, would strongly recommend to avoid altogether Costco tire service!

We returned a vacuum on a Saturday night a week before Christmas. The place was a zoo.we bought it online and had no Receipt. Maureen and Sam couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Thank you, your help and amazing attitude is a lost art.

What can I say! It is becoming more and more difficult to navigate the store as there is often obstacles and food demo's in the isle and people just don't seem to travel in a logical pattern anymore. on top of that they have discontinued some of the items I used to go for. I still go, but less and definitely don't enjoy it. The Nanaimo one is better.

Wife and I just bought our Executive Membership here which is the most expensive one. So we immediately walked out to go back around to show our Costco card in order to gain entry, and one of the door guys insisted on checking our suitcase bag which we use instead of regular bags. The man was a white man with a bald head. Seeing as how we JUST got our membership, AND mentioned this to him, we were astonished that we were already being sized up as criminals! We went to another entrance and got what we came for, which was chia seeds and flax seeds and almond milk. I absolutely cannot believe they would treat NEW members like this. So this one is up to you. Is a better price for groceries really worth the treatment? You decide. 2/5?

I only went there to get gas. Had an unpleasant credit card experience. Here, Canada, they only take MasterCard, whereas in the US, they only take VISA. I don't have a MasterCard, but I had a debit card from Chase Bank. It's a VISA debit card, and it was also not accepted even though they say they accept debit cards. Not good customer service practice! Thankfully, my travel companion had a MasterCard in his billfold. So, finally, after 10 minutes of trying, even with the help of the station attendant, I was able to buy gas.

Costco's are great for bulk buying and their prices are usually better than the competition. The problem with this particular Costco is how busy it is. More than half the time I come to shop in either the main store or the gas bar I turn around because of how busy it is. I either can't find a parking spot or the gas bar lineup is so long it's impeding parking lot traffic.I have been to a fair amount of Costco's and they can all be busy, but I haven't seen any as consistently busy as the Langford location. Time to open a second location in the Greater Victoria Area.

Worked for this company for many years, I am Autistic, an Upper management' were fully aware of it. Based on harmless minor events that took place they decided to let me go (Employment) which were not only intentional acts of discrimination but also a violation of human rights. They openly submitted wrong inaccurate information to HR, Lied about events that took place, violated my human rights, discriminated against me. Although they'll deny any wrong doing the evidence is irrefutable. I was diagnosed by a professional from many years ago an it was also on file with the store well in advance of these minor events taking place. that yes can an did violate policy arguably although very much minor an not intentional.) however im legally protected by law from such dismissal of employment. its been a few years since then an refuse to take any accountability for there actions to this day but also refuse to allow me to come back in some form to work for them again. I wont mention any names here but the individual who over sees things for Costco (Region) is very much a hateful, uncaring borderline sexist person where its in one ear an out the other. Shopping is great here but if you work for Costco an even if something is not your fault or your even diagnosed with something an any toe goes off the line they will bully you into silence, say you cant record anything, say anything out loud to others about there misdeeds an so on. Until they take full accountability for there actions an do the right thing me , my family an all the people we know will Not financially contribute to this company.

This place made me rage! Not the store itself, its Costco, its well stocked with great prices however it is to f*%^+ busy. Victoria needs another one. The people are rude af and will happily run into you. Nothing against the store itself but I will never be back to this shit show. Wanted a 1 star rating but that wouldnt be fair it is good, I would just avoid it like the plague

=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE It's the only Costco in Victoria / southern Vancouver Island, so if you're on the Costco bandwagon (and not a die-hard Sam's / Walmart / Real Canadian Superstore fan) then this is the place for you!=== 2. PRODUCTS/SERVICES It's a Costco, so it's just like every other Costco around - this one has a gas bar (great!) but no car wash nor self-serve tire inflation (boo - wishful thinking). Food court (yay!), good products at good prices (yay!) and rotisserie chicken at Canadian prices (boo - queue the usual discussion of Canadian vs. US pricing :P )=== 3. SERVICE Overall, the customer service is decent; it's on par with some of the locations on the Lower Mainland, but some of the locations on the Lower Mainland still take the cake (e.g. downtown Vancouver, South Burnaby), and Bellingham's service still reigns supreme.=== 4. ENVIRONMENT It's big and open like nearly all other Costco locations. Wheelchairs and baby strollers work just fine and there's never an issue getting a shopping cart. Parking is plentiful the further you are from the entrance like many busy Costcos :)

I was impressed with this Costco in most ways . Clean well laid out . Except the customer service desk and express checkout.. It's so close together. it's a bottle neck. customer service was fantastic. Victoria Costco has a thumbs up for sure !

I love coming to this location when I'm in town. It's very conveniently located near several other shops as well. They have plenty of parking available as well. I've never seen the store get overly busy, but weekends do tend to be busier than your average weekday. That being said, I've still been able to get in and out fairly quickly. The store has the same awesome deals and prices I'm use to in the U.S., perhaps even better since the selection is different. The real shining star of this location though is the food court. They have a kiosk to place orders just to the right of the food court. I'm so glad they've added this, because some previous visits the food court line was a nightmare I avoided. Now I can place my order and it's ready within minutes at the pickup counter. Some cool differences from the menu we have in the states would be the poutine, chicken tenders and fries, and the fact that they still have polish hotdogs. The service is always friendly and that poutine will have me coming back each time I'm on the island.
