Sorry folks but I advise caution on this one...replace notebook screen..."No problem..have it ready Wednesday" I went in today....almost 1 week in shop...not done. Found it in a pile of other jobs to be done. Frankly I don't do business with such bad service as my notebook was needed, today "Wednesday" for work. The fellow kept yapping at me I just want my notebook back.l and put the door thank you! Got home to some message...are you kidding me..hit the block button, walk away, share my true experience...End of story and I leave it to my readers to decide!

Total scam. Was charged $1100 for 8gig ram 8th gen motherboard 1680 super with a stock cooler. PLS DO NOT BUY WE BOUGHT THIS IN 2019 my parents got me a PC as a present and didn't have any knowledge of computers and got taken advantaged of and we can't do anything

Charged me 190$ for 32g ddr3 found the same ram on Amazon for 15$ after…. Shop around their way over priced. Service is terrible I will never shop there again.Just wanted to reply not sure how to do it other then on here. First of all I was given the wrong ram the first visit and I had to come back and get them to order the right one. On my 3rd visit the guy tried to tell me to come back because he did not want to look for the ram the other guy ordered.FYI I just had a custom pc built and I paid 80$ for 32g of brand new top of the line ram. 190$ for old used ddr3 ram is a total rip off. Not sure how we would work this out.

TL;DR: $1800 worth of equipment STOLEN and SCRAPPED. Manager isn't returning calls. AVOID THIS REPAIRSHOP!In August of 2022, I brough in a $1500 Dell XPS 15 laptop with water damage for repairs. Inside of the laptop was a $300 Samsung SSD card that I didn't know if still worked or not as I didn't have a second computer on hand to check it myself. I asked to repair the laptop if it was possible and to check the SSD card as well, but also mentioned that there was no rush about it and that I would be going travelling in several months. A few months from the drop-off date, I didn't hear back from them at all, so I assumed they were either working on it or postponed it since I've mentioned there was no urgency, and went on to travel for a while.Fast forward to Summer of 2023, I walked by their downtown location and it was gone completely, windows boarded up and no sign of business left anywhere. Calling their second location in Colwood, I was notified that my electronics were SCRAPPED as they've tried reaching out to me with no success and their shelf space is 'limited'. I most definitely didn't get any calls from them in the several months that I had remaining here and once I went travelling, it's possible they couldn't have reached me by phone, but no emails were sent either and so their reach-out attempt was mediocre at best. So without an email or any type of confirmation from me, they've supposedly just SCRAPPED $1800 worth of my equipment!! The front desk clerk took down my information and told me that their manager would call me in a week, but also gave me an email address to text him myself. The manager NEVER ended up calling me and my emails were left UNANSWERED. Robbery in plain daylight. I have luckily saved a receipt as I was also buying a TV adapted at the same time, so I'll be looking into going to small claims court, but as of right now it feels like I was unjustly ROBBED and now my calls and inquiries are being DODGED HARD.Judging by other reviews, this business is just on a downward spiral so if I were you I'd avoid this place and take your goods somewhere else, otherwise they might rob you too!

I regrettably feel the need to share my experience and a negative review. I have been a customer with DTI Computers since 2015, and throughout that time until last August, all my interactions and transactions were incredibly positive. Unfortunately, in August of 2022 I ordered a back cover for my dell laptop which cost 77.28 dollars, which I payed for upfront, and was told would ship and arrive within 3-4 weeks. This was not the case, and at the end of September I contacted Stacey to no response, and had to call directly in order to get a response, where I was assured they would figure out what happened to the case and would get back to me. This was not what happened, and I continued emailing to no reply, and had to call time after time, being assured that the product was being taken care of. Finally, last week I asked for a refund by phone, and once again was told I would be contacted, and again had to to follow up myself, this time in person, as I was told by phone that I would not be able to receive e-transfer and would have to come in person to receive my money. When I did arrive in person, I was told that I could in fact receive e transfer, and when transferring the money directly to my debit card did not work, I was told I would receive an e-transfer in the next 24 hours. This has not happened. I am hoping that leaving this review will lead to me receiving my money, but DTI Computers has still lost a costumer regardless.

My husband Dave was certainly pleased with the service he received at DTI Computers at Colwood. Their tech man Stephen solved his computer-printer problem quickly and we would recommend DTI as the place to go.

After reading the positive reviews for this place I decided to bring in my wife’s laptop because she had dropped it and it was not functioning well. What I thought would be a quick turn around turned into a two week wait after multiple calls to figure out what was wrong with it and when it would be ready. We kept getting conflicting messages from the tech guys. Finally, after waiting for over two weeks we asked for the computer back because they were taking too long. When my wife picked it up they had done nothing to fix the laptop and they charged $50 for labour. Stacey blamed his technicians for being new and inexperienced and at no point took responsibility for the awful service. I would not recommend taking your computer to this shop.

Was told it would take a day to get my pc built... week later windows wasent installed or certified on the pc, finally get my pc and was clearly obvious this build was too much for them to handle. Only saving grace was friendly customers support..
