“I couldn't be happier with my experience at Club Phoenix, our local family-owned gym in Langford, BC. It's a true gem!The first thing that struck me was how immaculately clean the facility is. Cleanliness is something I highly value, especially in a gym, and they definitely deliver on this front. It's evident that the owners and staff take great pride in maintaining a spotless environment, which makes my workouts so much more enjoyable and comfortable.The equipment here is top-notch. Everything is in excellent condition, and there's a wide variety to choose from, so I never have to wait to use what I need. “I’ve been working out at Taranis for four years and only have great things to say about the programming and coaching staff. I don’t think I’ve ever truly liked going to the gym this much or attended a gym so regularly - and as a result I’m stronger and have more muscle mass than I’ve ever had (despite the fact that I’m in my mid-thirties and postpartum). The coaches are more than happy to provide modifications for whatever reason eg. mobility or injury. I also highly recommend Robyn’s pregnancy and postpartum athleticism class at Taranis - I tell all my pregnant friends about it!”

“Really impressed with this location! Visiting Victoria for the first time and glad there was a nice GoodLife to go to.We came before the mall opened, parked in the underground lot, went up the parkade elevator to level 1 (inside the mall), then switched elevators to one that goes up to 4th floor where the gym is. It’s easy to find up there. Oh and free parking for 2 hours, just register your vehicle on the tablet at the GoodLife front desk.The change rooms are across the hall from the gym entrance, a bit abnormal but totally fine since it’s locked, and the front desk staff buzz you in. And the change rooms were great, newer and cleaner than other locations I’ve seen before.The front desk staff member Laurie was so nice, the nicest I’ve encountered at any GoodLife location, so shoutout to her for making everyone’s day brighter!”

Anyone can attend, fit athletes who are looking for a real challenge and also beginners. Sue creates amazing workouts. Great equipment too, weights, sled, hill sprints and more.”

“I was looking for a facility that really focused on rehab and thought outside the box. Catalyst was recommended to me by my Physiotherapist as he had referred a couple similar clients to them with great success.The club is stunning and stands out from the rest of the facilities in town. Furthermore, the team that works there truly cares about the clients and the community. They really listened to what I needed and helped me right from the start by communicating with my Physio and crafting a unique and strategic plan. The programming was well communicated and I never felt uneasy with the exercises we were doing.I highly recommend Catalyst, not only for rehab related issues but as a gym in general. The team, the location, and the vibe are all worth the journey. Yes, it is unfortunately off the beaten path and parking can sometimes be an issue at peak paddling hours, but again, the team always did what they could to accommodate me.”

The ongoing variety keeps my interest and helps me to improve my fitness by ensuring I am training various muscle groups as well as my endurance, strength, power and stability. “Great gym, one of the few I’ve been too that actually has enough free weights and benches. Good range of equipment too and nicely decorated. Alas I was only in town for a couple of days, but was greeted by the lovely Hannah who was super welcoming. If I lived nearby would join up!”

“Would HIGHLY recommend Simon as a personal trainer. You can tell he's very passionate about his gym and invests all his time in order for you to improve on your health. The ICE and FIRE classes are a really good hard hitting work out and all the members are fantastic and motivational. Everyone in the Sim's gym community really knows how to push you to your limits in a positive way and get that maximized work out. Been working with Simon for a long time and I DO NOT REGRET IT AT ALL!!!Go see Simon!!!”
