“Wonderful hotel close to everything in Downtown Victoria. The Vista 18 restaurant has stunning 360 views of the city and inner harbour. Rooms are newly renovated, beds are comfortable. The Tyneham shampoo, wash and lotion are lovely, I even bought some for home use.”

“AMAZING. The heritage to the Inn is out of this world. Every corner has something beautiful to offer. Comfortable rooms with awesome bath tubs however this was not even the best part, IT was the service. As it was an family emergency trip the owner went above and beyond and made our life's so much easier. EXCELLENT SERVICE! And Best three course breakfast. Thank you Amethyst Inn.”

“Beautifully kept historic building. Location is excellent! The staff all love the hotel and are wonderful to talk to. Rooms are nicer, cleaner and better than some of the big hotels. This is a must visit hotel. Yes, Emily Carr had lived here and died here. Fascinating to be a part of such an amazing part of Canadian history. We loved our stay.”

“Nice spot in the James Bay district of Victoria. While on vacation we decided to have lunch here. The parking lot was crowded but there were some spots around the rear of the Inn immediately across from the ground floor Pub entrance, great because my wife was experiencing some difficulty with a knee injury and a barrier free ingress/egress made it easier. Great food, chose the Clubhouse platter and a Salad along with a local craft beer. Quick service from the only wait staff on duty who was friendly and is a great asset to the Pub's profitability. Almost a 'Cheers' environment with many local tradespeople stopping for lunch too. $$$”

“Everything about our stay at this hotel was amazing. The rooms were luxurious, our view was stunning, our in-room dining experience was fantastic and toddler-approved and the staff were all so welcoming and kind. Our room attendant, Violetta, was notably wonderful. At our request, she dropped what she was doing to clean our room so that our son could have a nap and she went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and cared for. Thank you Violetta and all the staff for making our stay and first family holiday a wonderful success.”

“Currently staying here since we have to move out from our place because of the pipe that burst, all i can say is from the moment we were booking Arpan and i forgot the name of the other one but they are both helpful and even before we check in they are very flexible since we had to move our booking because of things that needs to settle firts, and while we are staying here we had to ask to move since we can’t rest well because of noise that we can hear from other unit, they move us to a new room which is more comfortable thanks to the one i talked too o really forgot na name if it shelany? . i love their rooms the view i have while having my online class and i love the service! “Fantastic experience for me and my family. Friendly, helpful staff & extremely clean. No pests, bus stops close to Island Travel Inn. Reasonable rates for 2 King size beds $100.25 a new night. Quiet no noise, rooms dark at night & we had a Great sleep. We will definitely return to this Inn.”
