Anyone reading this know they are not open on Saturday or Sunday like posted. FORBES: Change the times on your websites!!! Clearly by the reviews Im not the first person to be burned by this. You are a medical business, it puts peoples health literally at risk by not providing the correct hours of operation.

Don't use this pharmacy. The last straw was today, when I went to pick up my prescription only to find them closed. They apparently now close on Saturday, even though their website says they are open today, Saturday February 24, until 6 pm. We have been plagued by mistakes made by this pharmacy, like not having the prescription ready when promised, short changing our prescription with fewer pills than prescribed, then charging us the dispensing fee for the remaining pills, not charging our prescription costs to our pharma plan, etc, etc. We have decided to move to another pharmacy because of all the mistakes and errors and poor customer service at Forbes Pharmacy Burnside. We really tried to support a small scale neighbourhood pharmacy, but enough is enough. It's in the same building as our family doctor, but the quality of the work has declined significantly over the past year or so. If you go there, be prepared to stand at the "Pick up Prescription" window and be ignored by the people staffing the pharmacy. They will look at you, understand you are waiting, and then just carry on with what they are doing.

They are extremely busy, but I have not had any issues getting prescriptions filled, or refilled. The wait at the counter to pick things up is the one negative, again because they are very busy.

I should have read the reviews before switching my prescriptions here. I filled a new prescription after recently receiving confirmation of Pharmacare enrollment, and when I asked the attendant if I had coverage, he said "MSP doesn't cover medications." I then asked for two of my pre-existing medications to be filled and received confirmation that they would be. No word from the pharmacy for two weeks so I called to inquire about it, they had no record of my request. The person on the phone agreed to fill it within two days. Still no word four business days later, called again, still no record of my refill request and they didn't have one of my medications in. I finally picked up my prescription today, almost exactly a month after first ordering it.Today when I went in, the attendant served a white man who just came in before serving me even though I had been waiting for 10 minutes - this is relevant because I am visibly queer and female. The man in front of me was wearing a very clear sign on his chest saying that he is deaf, but the attendant mumbled things at the man and didn't take off his mask so the deaf man could lip read. One of the attendants here is great, really friendly and helpful, the younger fellow. The older tall fellow has been awful to deal with.

There is this lady with brown hair who works there who has been consistently disrespectful and rude whenever I come to pick up my medications, I have noticed she is also mean to everyone else including my family members and anyone else she talks too. I have never done anything to deserve this kind of treatment and after every interaction I am left feeling upset and frustrated. I don’t understand how she still has her job after how horrible she treats her costumers. Truly a draining experience every time I come in, Besides that lady every other employee is pleasant to talk too. If you care about the people who come in to this establishment I think you should fire her and get someone who actually cares about people to replace her.

Forbs pharmacy on Burnside has the most rude, degrading health professionals working behind their counter. Being a woman in long term recovery I have experienced extreme stigma, judgement and condescending behaviour from staff at this specific pharmacy. It's hard enough dealing with your medications in recovery, then having staff make pre conceived judgements before I even spoke; was unbelievable hurtful and counter productive.I have had scripts denied mutiple times, and my Doctor has had to call repeatedly to reiterate what is written on my script. I was in with a script recently and was told there was a mistake and when I asked them to call my doctor I was refused in a very rude manner and turned away. No other individual who walks into that clinic with health needs or script mistakes would be treated with such disrespect. But, because I am on certain medications I am treated like a distrusted addict, not a woman who has long term sobriety. If you are in recovery of any kind DO NOT GO to this pharamacy. The stigma is real and the staff is awful & uneducated.

I have been filling my medication here for over two years. I left town for 3 months due to schooling, came back and I forgot my medication in a different town. I asked nicely for an emergency refill until I can go out of town and grab my prescription. (I get really sick without my medication) the pharmacy lady then said I am no longer with them because I had to get my newest prescription from where I was doing school. I never once planned on leaving them? I got a temporary refill out of town? She refused to help me out and said no I’m not with them anymore. Very very rude. I then panicked calling around so I don’t get sick, and George rd shoppers was nice enough to help me out. I will NEVER come to burnside pharmacy again!!! Terrible. If I could give less than 1 star I would!

The pharmacist knows I don’t have insurance right now, and was able to amalgamate my prescription which in turn saved me some money. He genuinely cares and it’s very easy to see. When you’re struggling financially, every little bit helps and when someone will go the extra mile to help, it really leaves a mark.

Reviewing because I have now twice in one week seen an IDA company vehicle cut off or obstruct a flashing and sirening ambulance at Tillicum & Interurban. Shameful, but especially funny from a company in the health business.
