“Good selection. Not the run of the mill though. But variable price groups. Selections I'm eager to try...but on special occasions as they are a little more pricey than my usual evening dinner wine would be. But that being said, they do feature some more affordable wines and I will certainly be trying them as well.”

“I live next door to bc liquor but my husband and I prefer to go out of our way to visit this store. They have a ton of selection for my husband plus lots of nonalcoholic options for me. We can bring our dog into the store and everyone fawns over her. She loves it. This mall is fairly busy but I seem to always find parking in this section of the parking lot.
Above all these reasons I like visiting here...the staff are amazing. They recognize you and are always helpful if youre looking for something. Kaitlyn in particular is one of the friendliest customer service people you could ever meet. I always leave the store in a good mood because of her. Thank you Royal Oak Liquor Plus! “Cascadia is easily my favourite liquor store in town with its excellent selection and friendly staff. This week, I was impressed by the manager’s equally friendly and prompt communication while handling an unusual situation.
A couple of weeks ago, I came in to purchase a bottle of wine and my credit card was declined. I stepped out of line to check my bank account and while I was doing this the person behind me unexpectedly paid for the bottle of wine before I realized what was happening. It was extraordinarily kind, and I hope karma has done a good turn for that person.
Several days later, I realized that my credit card had been charged after all. It occurred to me to reach out to Cascadia to see if they could potentially identify the generous customer who’d paid for my wine and refund him. The manager responded to my email swiftly and professionally, and immediately followed up on my request. The staff were able to identify the customer who’d paid for my wine. He was a regular, and the next time he came into Cascadia the staff were able to offer him either a refund or a bottle of wine. It was the best possible outcome.
Thanks to the manager and team at Cascadia in Quadra Village for their top notch communication and for taking swift action to refund their customer for his kind gesture.”
“UNPARALLELLED CUSTOMER SERVICE! Keith delivered on what a large Canadian chain could not do. He listened. I needed a gift for “wine-fancy” relatives (I’m not wine fancy). He worked within my budget, compensated for weird delivery restrictions, talked me through the options and got the gift there lightening fast. And they were the perfect choices. I cannot recommend this business enough. Please shop local, this shop is great!!”

Good selection bad at the moment cause of the strike but generally great stock, nice clean store I find prices are good; coop members get better rates, and a rebate. Overall a very well run store. Can’t stress enough how wonderful all the staff are; kind patient and friendly. I’ll be going here later today; it’s a farther walk for me but it’s worth it. ????”

“It's conveniently located in Esquimalt plaza, but the inventory is quite small. I can find common, big name alcohols but when it comes to foreign ones like Japanese sake, Korean Choju, etc. it's limited or not available. It's often just a 5 minute browsing for me, then I'm off to check the next alcohol store.
Regardless, it still provides the popular, big name brands of alcohol.”
“Was a little disappointed with my service went in looking for sailor Jerry's it wasn't on the usual shelf I understand what's going on in the world. I had been to a government store recently for work to purchase beer for work and saw it on the shelf. So decided to stop at Hadley park because I rather support a private business. So I decided to just check the end caps before I left, I ran into a large man who asked me if he could help I asked him if they had any sailor Jerry's he said no I said okay that's fine And proceeded to leave. As leaving he yells at me across the store I was at the door he was at your little counter at the back, that it probably will never be back in stock in this liquor store. Generally I find that place pretty empty when I go in there but this day there had to been 10 or 15 people in there. Found it embarrassing and made me feel like an alcoholic. I bought a bottle before all this bull happened like 6 months ago it is finally running low. So yes I was looking to replace it. I did replace it I went back to the government liquor store who still had it in stock and picked up that bottle. Still giving you a decent rating I feel as I do appreciate a private run business over government and my experience are generally okay in there.”
“This liquor store has a very large walk in fridge area. Seems bottled items have switched to cans...not the stores issue. That is a let down as who likes drinking from cans...now you have to provide glasses at parties. Huge selection so you will probably find your favorites here.”
