Never had a worse customer experience in my life, specifically the electronics department worker who treated my partner and I like criminals when we were actively trying to purchase a very expensive product that was locked up. I worked at LD when I was younger and the standard was much, much, higher for staff. Sad to see such unsuitable individuals working at what used to be a retailer that made its name with exceptional customer service.

For 25+ years Loretta in the cosmetics department is the GOAT ! ? such a great help, kind, reasonable and has fab suggestions since as long as I can remember. Give this hard working gal a raise !

Great service from Sean and the team in the Electronics dept when I wanted to trade in a camera for other gear. I got feedback promptly about the trade-in value and after I selected what I wanted to trade for, Sean took the time to explore the best options and got me a really good price. I also bought a laptop from the Yates location last year and had really great service then too.

If you want a half decent passport photo, do not go here. They use this horrific backlight and overhead flash that highlights every crevice and makes your face look like an oil slick I went to park photo for a redo and am very happy to have done so

Pharmacy was rude over the phone. I called a couple minutes before closing (I wasn’t aware they closed so soon) and asked if I could get a refill for an emergency prescription. I had explained that the pharmacy I normally go to closed early today so I was already in a tough situation. The lady on the phone said “we close in five minutes, so no” then hung up the phone?? I understand that they couldn’t fill it like that’s so fair but maybe be a bit kinder? I work in customer service so I get it but at least have a bit of empathy?

When my 12 year old TV finally gave up, I immediately thought of London Drugs as the place to get a new one. I checked online and visited the store and was able to find exactly what I wanted. They couldn't actually find it in the back, but they came back with a slightly better model with a managers discount. It's important to be able to speak to staff who actually know what they are talking about and LD seems to always have that capability. I get most of electronics (and cookware) there.

This is to management: As a heavily tattooed person, shaved head - "alternative" - Its not uncommon for me to be instantly followed by security in stores. I'm a local business owner and have no interest in stealing and I dont believe I show any signs that it is my intention. Multiple instances in this location Ive had security follow me and hover around me as I shop. Even an instance where I have found a product open that I was looking for and security accused me of opening them.I have come in here often out of convenience to buy supplies for my business - but I no longer feel welcome and will be taking my business elsewhere when I can, even at my own inconvenience.

Disgusting treatment towards a PAYING customer, who just happened to be an unhoused community member. A women employee about 5’3, short grey hair on Nov 2 @ 10:15 am absolutely berated this this young man at the front of the store in-front of everyone. She pointed her finger continuously in his face and raised her voice with an aggressive tone towards him saying horrible things and projecting her fears of the unhoused community onto him. I should mention that the man she was speaking to in no way showed any signs of aggression, gesturing body language or raised his voice at her even once. It was completely out of left field and inhumane to treat an individual this way. This women needs to be educated on how to deal with interactions within the workplace.

I love london drugs ever since I was a child. The staff are helpful if questions are asked and they match competitors prices, so i try to choose here vs the bigger stores to get electronics etc.

I was tripped by a piece of trash on the floor of this store & fell hard on my hands & knees. The manager did nothing to make up for the pain & discomfort but to call me to ask about it & wish me well. He didn't offer me any compensation at all. I guesshey doesn't realize the store can be sued for such things.Days later my knee is still bruised to the bone & still sore.Staff often sits outside smoking cigarettes which pollutes air quality. When I asked if they could be told to go elsewhere the manager said there's nothing they can do about it. Not impressed by the lack of care for the customer here, where they say they care for your health.

Most unprofessional misuse of conduct and power.I was walking up to the store and 4 MEN WERE DETAINING A SCREAMING WOMAN. No badges, no care, she was in pain and they were man-handling her to the highest extent.I choose to take my money elsewhere. The manager was literally just standing by watching the egregious engagement. I'm appalled and hope this woman gets the dignity back that was stolen by these people.I'll never shop at a London Drugs again, and will highly recommend everyone I know to do the same.Period.
