I bought range and over range microwave, scheduled delivery after 3 days until now it’s not delivered yet it’s been 3weeks. It’s sooo frustrating because Christmas is coming. I Will not buy anything again in this store.

We just had an excellent experience at Rona! We stopped in to browse a bit after dinner. Thanks to the amazing help from Munu, we ended up leaving with all that we needed for two projects! From toilets and sinks to caulking and screws, He expertly guided us through the store.

We were shopping for some gutter parts and checked online first before driving half an hour in to pick up the parts...Our experience was seamless: There was plenty of free parking close to the entrance, the employee who helped direct us to the gutters knew where it was and was friendly. All the pieces we needed were in stock and well-marked. The checkout employee was efficient and helpful.I can see where shoppers will be overwhelmed with the shopping experience at this store (and hence a lot of "Lowe" reviews, ha ha), and part of this experience may be employee related, but many shoppers should take ownership of their lack of patience or experience shopping for building and home improvement materials. This isn't a grocery store where there is a universal layout of goods throughout the industry, and everyone knows that layout... This particular location was never designed to be a hardware store and hence there are some nuances that beg for reorganization. And there are bound to be employees who are still learning what contractors have spent years absorbing...But Lowe's could certainly mitigate the negative experience by installing self-serve kiosks that would show the location and quantity of items on an interactive map at each entrance to the store.Or better yet, a free download app online, and a QR code located on posters around the store that would allow every phone to guide you to your product... Hmmmm.... Any app developers out there that want to do this for EVERY Lowe's store? Canadian Tire, Home Hardware, Home Depot or Castle????

Go elsewhere for special fasteners. They seem to be unable to keep the most popular sizes in stock, so I often end up having to go to another store.

It’s amazing they can retain any employees when they are subjected to endless cacophonous automated service messages non stop every day.Ever heard of department specific radios? No worries - let’s just constantly notify the entire store with 5 messages that someone needs special assistance in the mill works area!I can barely hear my own thoughts checking off items on my list, I can’t imagine working in that environment. When someone finally does show up after 10 minutes to help your special service calls, it’s often multiple employees - almost like no one can take responsibility or communicate who is taking the call - because literally EVERYONE is called.I have held off writing this review for a long time, as I know there is a switchover happening to Rona, but it’s been almost a year now.I’ll see items as in stock online, drive half an hour - only to be told they haven’t been able to keep account of product, and they actually don’t have it. Coming here more often than not is a total waste of time and money.The only positive thing I’ll say is in the off chance you lay your eyes on the specific product you need, it’s well priced.I have been coming here for over two years, and I can objectively say this is the worst building supply store in Victoria.

Lowes struggles with quality employees (when you can find someone). I think this place is simply poorly managed. There are a couple of staff members who are excellent in their role, however they comprise a small exception.

We recently bought a new appliance, it was a great deal. Dawn, in the home appliance section was wonderful, and Kristine helped us secure the fridge as there was another customer hoping to get the fridge as well. Luckily another store had the same fridge so everything worked out. Thanks Dawn and Kristine!

Incompetent staff - Adrienne was terrible. Would rather stand at the desk than help. Specifically asked her where a product was that was in stock online and she said to just look around and she couldn't look the product up which was a lie and couldn't leave the desk. I lapped the building 3 times calling loudly for anyone who was working (almost no customers) and someone I found 10 mins later was able to immediately look up the product. On my way out, noticed an item I got was damaged, as her to ask the person who was helping me to grab one more, she just called him to the desk instead and gave me so much attitude. Don't know what her problem is, but I will be avoiding this place of there is literally any other spot carrying whatever product I need. What should have been a fast 10 mins in and out took an hour.

I came in to Lowe's Garden Center on Thursday July 6th and was thoroughly impressed with the lady who works in the garden center. I think her name was Sheena? She's a tall blondie she has a great smile and friendly attitude. I had a list of questions to ask about flowers and what best options for my home garden and she had a lot of ideas and suggestions which made my choices easier to decide what I wanted to do with my area for plants. I think this lady deserves a shout out about how great she does her job and a raise. I saw how well all the hanging plant displays looked and they looked really nice. And they also smelled nice. This day and age you don't really get people who know what they're talking about when it comes their jobs because people just don't know much about what they work with. Anyways I think you're lucky to have a good and hard-working employee. Those are also hard to come by these days too

Joe was awesome! He is incredibly knowledgeable and eager to help. Definitely a model employee. I could not have finished my project without him. He even helped with multiple returns and exchanges when none of the products I needed were complete in the box the first time around. Plus I got a neat history lesson on the building as he was helping me load up my vehicle.

Wow! I am always so blown away by the customer service here! The last time a lady helped me set up a VIP account and today I had three amazing people help me find everything I was looking for. Well actually everytime I go in they help me get in and out :) The best part is they are always happy to help or find someone that can! Thank you so much Joe, Caitlin and Bradley?

Excellent customer service, above and beyond help. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely use this store again. Ordering was easy, speaking to a real person was easy, delivery was handled without issue. Service was way more than expected, and after trying the competition store wouldn't go anywhere else.
