Good alternators good starters rebuilds seem good although prices went up to retail pricing when new owners took over no longer good prices likes the old owner joe had. As for their auto service average to low they miss to much obvious things when they're working on our vehicles. They'll complete our brakes but fail to mention the tires have play ended up wasting more time on a second trip ended up having bad tierods and thats just for starters also new owners charge much more for used batteries compared to joe the previous owner which sold them for $30-50 depending on the battery new owners charge $75 + tax my used battery lasted 6 months....better off buying new at those prices plus the warranty they give for used batteries is laughable but they're happy to charge big money for a used battery with a laugh able warranty

Tested battery, alternator and starter. Replaced starter and problem remained. Cost, $400 to replace a working starter. Still couldn't figure out the problem so was passed off to another repair shop next door. Great guy but paid for nothing and passed off when work sub standard. Found problem myself, adjusted clutch safety start, cost... nothing.

Our battery was limping along then finally gave up while we were visiting from Oregon. We called around trying to find somewhere to get a new battery installed so we could make the ferry in the morning, and Mac's was the only place that said "sure - come on in and we'll help you out today!" He installed the battery and checked the alternator and sent us on our way. We're so grateful Mac's made a stressful situation so easy to fix.
