Market on Millstream is where you go to find the thing you need that no other stores seem to have. Awesome store and staff is usually cordial and quick.

Great selection. Some things are a bit over priced, but others are i think under priced. Like any smaller private grocer, they charge whats reasonable for them.
Staff is hit and miss, some are super friendly and helpful, but they get students who couldn't give two blinks.
Good bakery and deli sections.

They have good produce but also a bit on the pricey side of things. I like the excellent gluten-free products. Some staff are very nice and others seem a bit cold and unfriendly. Overall, it's a nice place to shop

Recently the Market got rid of the LOCAL ISLAND FARMS dairy products that they carried from the beginning. I asked to speak to the person who does the orderin g and they didn’t come out to talk to me. They just sent back the young employee that went in to tell me that Island Farms had raised their prices and that Dairyland was cheaper to make a profit so they went with Dairyland and chose to get rid of Island Farms. I thought this store supported local? We don’t enjoy Dairyland products and always shopped at the Market because they say they get quality local products. I also wanted to support a smaller local business when a huge competitor moved in across the way. Now I have to go to the big chain stores and can no longer shop at my local smaller market because they made a decision that was very off brand. You can’t carry Avalon Milk and then say you want to carry cheaper dairy products and just get rid of an island brand that you have had from the beginning. Worse yet, not even come out and speak to a customer who wanted to speak to someone in ordering so that they could consider getting it back? Now I’ll be shopping elsewhere. Unfortunate, because we did all of our shopping there for our family of four.

There's a pretty good chance you're going to be sold rancid meat from both the Millstream and the Yates location. On three separate occastions, I've purchased raw chicken with a best before date 3-4 days after my purchase date, only to find them already slimy and smelly when I go to cook them THAT SAME NIGHT. YOU'RE SCAMMING YOUR CUSTOMERS.

It is pretty hard to not get a good rating as a grocery store. Staff was friendly, space was clean, shelves were stocked. What more could you reasonably expect? Admittedly they didn't shine my shoes and give me an old fashioned on the way out the door.
