Focused on excuses. Not focused on solutions. Did not tighten my lug nuts(I had to come back after I noticed severe clunking). Did not do the other work that I had asked them to. Did not show a willingness to want to do the work. I cannot recommend any less. The sign in the waiting room said say no to BS(Bad servce). I tried, and I recommend everyone do the same.

My work vehicle started making a horrible noise on my way home so I popped in on a busy afternoon. They got me right on the hoist and did a temporary fix for me, no charge, and I was out of there in 15 min. Really appreciate their customer service!

I called them in the morning to switch a tpms in a tire and they were able to do it the same day. They were helpful and knowledgeable about the tesla

Disastrous. Worst service EVER. Spent like 3 hours to get battery replaced. 1st time they brought in tne wrong battery. And second time it took an hour for the battery to arrive.

I booked an 8am Appt for oil and alignment. I asked to have the shocks looked at. It wasn't until 2 that I got a phone call. The salesman said I needed new shocks and that they were in very bad condition and highly recommended them. I declined as it was the end of the day. I arrive to pickup the truck to find out the alignment wasn't done because the ball joint had too much play.
I took the truck to a an honest mechanic (Marchanical in Duncan). He saw the report from Midas and did his assessment. The ball joints had no give and the rubbers looked brand new. Aside from the rust on the exterior casing of the shocks, they were in good condition and were not in need of replacing.
I had the alignment done as I just put new tires on last week and I saw the work being performed. The alignment was almost perfect.
The I realized that Midas didn't reset the oil life in the truck.
Pretty poor service I received and I would not recommend this location as they will probably upsell you on parts that are not needed.

Don't go here unless you want to spend OVER DOUBLE for the cost. Read the reviews!!! There's a reason over half or more of the recent reviews are saying this (and the ones who aren't...don't know they are being ripped off) as lots don't. Not to mention they are charging $175 an hour if you can actually believe it (DEALERSHIP rate!!!) the lady up front who seems to be in charge - an overly loud "look at me, listen to me" talking 24/7 "chatty Kathy" kind of gal who thinks she knows more than anyone who works there or who sets foot in the door....has an extremely fake personality & will turn on a dime soon as she's questioned! The mechanics however are nice young men I will say. Don't waste your time or money here!

They did a lot of great work on my 2003 Frontier. Complete exhaust, including manifolds. New brakes including Master Cylinder. Everything was done perfectly and on time. The estimate was exactly right. Thanks for the good work.

I give this Midas Service Centre a 5 star review. ? I have been there twice now and they have been really friendly and generous with their service and pricing. I will definitely go back and tell others about them. (1830 Island Highway, Victoria, B.C.)

Incompetence and dishonesty. After being a loyal customer for more than 15 years, I will no longer visit this Midas location. During a recent oil change their front desk rep reported that two of my signal lights were burned out and offered to repair them. I declined and found after I left that they, in fact, were operating just fine. The provided inspection report recommended multiple fluid changes that were in direct conflict with my owner's manual. Shameless upselling!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff with exceptional customer service. I came in minutes before they closed on what seemed to be one of their busiest days and they helped me get my faulty power window back up. They will be my new mechanic from here on out.
