We always go to pet smart to buy our dogs food but today I found the cashier to not be very nice or helpful. We are treats reward members and she did not honour our coupon and when we told her we’d be right back and walked away to find the coupon code she left the the till and we were forced to carry our heavy items to a different till where we were checked out by a different person. most disappointing experience I have had there unfortunately.

I’m appalled by the lack of knowledge this store has for small animals, especially reptiles. Countless times I’ve seen lizards housed in poor conditions, and solitary lizards housed with others. The way you house these animals is ignorant. I’m afraid of how many buyers you’ve spread misinformation to. No one should buy animals from Petsmart, buy from businesses who know what they’re doing.

It's a nice, organized store. It is also clear that the employees do care about animals, and that it isn't just a paycheck to them! Do recommend!

We stopped into the Langford, BC location today to ask about a pheromone diffuser, that I had seen online, to help reduce the aggression between our two cats. We asked a nice lady named Myssie our question, and boy was she the perfect person to ask. She had used the Feliway Friends diffuser for the same problem with her cats, and was a wealth of knowledge. She answered all of our questions, and we felt very fortunate that she was there to help us. PetSmart should feel very fortunate to have this employee, as she was one of the most helpful people we have come across in a long time. Thanks again Myssie. Hope to give you an update on our cat situation soon.

Only one staff member was friendly or helpful. Thankfully she arrived as we had been waiting 15 minutes to buy some fish. Cashier was also not very friendly.

PetSmart specializes in pet supplies and services, including pet grooming, and training They have some of the best pet food selection and their staff is also very courteous.

The management in this place is terrible. Seems like there is a lot of miscommunications. I was walking through the store and overheard a worker scolding a fellow co worker in a public setting, completely unprofessional and rude of the supervisor to do in-front of paying customers. Don’t waste your money at a place where they don’t treat their staff how they deserve to be treated.

I bought a 3 month old hamster here on June 10 2023 and today (August 18 2023) I found her passed away in her cage. I phoned to see if there was anything petsmart would be willing to do as she was so young but the lady I spoke to on the phone had 0 remorse and rushed to tell me they don’t do anything once you’ve had the pet for longer then 14 days. This is disgusting. Do NOT buy your beloved pets from here!!

Not going to lie I was pretty hesitant to bring my dog to PetSmart for a groom due to previous bad experiences (10+ years ago in AB) and the horror stories you hear when you look up PetSmart grooming, but I was in a pinch with the hot weather and it was the quickest place I could book on the South Island. Despite being nervous I could tell from the beginning it was a good experience! A girl named Bree took care of my little guy and was really gentle with him during the greeting which spoke volumes to me since usually it’s more of a grab and go situation. She was honest and transparent about how the cut went and said he did great but wasn’t able to cut his nails and I appreciated her deciding to not do that rather than making his experience traumatic since he’s so young. I’m not a big review writer but I felt it’s important to share :) I love supporting local but if you’re in a pinch like I was, Bree was lovely.

I am appalled that the unprofessional behaviour of the grooming salon here.I made arrangements to have my new dog groomed, and when booking, I asked about their policy regarding up to date vaccines.After being assured that our situation was sufficient for service, we arrived today to find out that wasn't so.I have no issue with policy being in place, or with it being enforced. My issue is twofold; with the first being that staff making appointments should known these policies, and whether or not they can provide service.The big problem here was the way that my wife was treated in store. The staff in store this morning (May 19, 2023) were incredibly rude and dismissive in their conversation with us. No effort was made in any way to understand how we got into our predicament, nor were we allowed to finish a sentence without being interrupted.A shameful display of service from a company known for doing that part well.
