I tried to make a deposit to someone’s account. I have their full name and banking information but was denied at the branch without providing a reason other than no longer accept third party cheques from non customers. It’s not as big of an inconvenience to me than to your own customers who are waiting for funds that you won’t allow me to deposit.This is this the reason I don’t have bank accounts with RBC. They don’t care for their customers. At least other banks pretend.

Very slow and poor service, as a new customer I expected better service as well as a more professional experience. I was dealing with one of the advisors for over a month trying to apply for a credit card, and I felt that they were no where nearly as helpful or supportive as they could have been as it is my first credit card I was applying for. I was told to call their credit bureau and I got caught in a loop where nothing was getting resolved and I was getting sent to the same department that would send me online to try and register even though I don’t even have a credit card to register with! Not very impressed as a new customer.

Poor service.Cant call the branch directly, diverted call to Toronto. Secure emails take up to 3 days to get answered. Call back can take a day .Waiting on the phone for over an hour to speak to someone. Dropped call. Online booking tool does not work properly. I have been a customer for 50 + years and this is the worst service ever. The bank needs to hire more people and give us direct access to our branch. And fix all the issues above. They are very profitable but complacent!
