Miss the cozy friendly pharmacy.
Although bigger and more stuff....
No tea tree oil shampoo. And they said they had no inventory base in their computer to check. Even independent Heart pharmacy has this feature.

Won't be shopping there anymore, as they are no longer dog friendly. Disappointed in this change, which is out of step with the neighbourhood and inconvenient. Sticking to local pharmacies that welcome me and my pup!

I was diagnosed with Covid and was prescribed Paxlovid. The problem was finding a Pharmacy that
1) had it in stock
2) would order it
3) make useful suggestions as to whom I should make contact
The only Pharmacy that provided any help was Rexall. The first Rexall pharmacist I contacted suggested I contact a neighbouring store and the pharmacist there was extremely helpful. Not only was he empathetic, but he had the medication in stock.
I am seriously considering switching pharmacies because of this experience.

This *was* our pharmacy. A change in ownership resulted in losing our pharmacists and they struggle now to keep up with filling prescriptions and deliveries. It was usual to have to go in more than once and for the staff to have to look around for the prescription. They often seemed rushed and confused. They never did get to know us.
We found a new pharmacy when a wrong medication was dispensed.
(FYI: Medication errors can be reported to ISMPCanada.ca for review. It's an easy process and the focus is on learning from the situation.)

This is our neighbourhood pharmacy. We use the pharmacy and post office quite a bit. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and greet us by name. As a transplant recipient my husband's meds can be complex and we consider our pharmacists important members of his care team. They've gone above and beyond many times.

This review is about the pharmacy specifically: It's objectively terrible.
I switched to this pharmacy about 5 months ago for the prospect of using the app to refill prescriptions online - unfortunately, there is a problem EVERY time. They miss prescription refill deadlines, despite me booking days in advance, and when I call about it they act surprised as if this is the first time they've even looked at their online booking and say 'oh, umm, the order isn't here yet'. The order is never 'there' yet, as that's been the excuse, without exaggeration, several times in the last 5 months. My prescriptions aren't novel - they're every-day drugs. Give me a break.
NOT worth the frustration, find somewhere else. Why am I paying Rexall's exorbitant dispensing fees for bad service?

Great except for the cashiers attitude. I adore the post office people and pharmacists here but the young man cashier at the main counter is not a people person.

If you value your time.. DO NOT shop here. The cashiers are more interested in talking to each other down the soap aisle than helping customers. I stood at the checkout for 8 mins while two employees just gabbed about their weekend plans.. so much, I just left my stuff there and walked out. Ridiculous.

I've been into the shop and there's nothing wrong with it but as a prescriber it's very very frustrating to call in either new or refill prescriptions to this location in particular out of all other pharmacies in Victoria I dread when someone requests to pickup there. I'm put on hold multiple times and the technician doesn't realize they can take repeats without changes, always some type of confusion.

The pharmacy staff are incredibly incompetent, unprofessional and rude. I don’t want to sound like a Karen, but literally the WORST pharmaceutical team I have ever dealt with. I have been there a couple times and always had a bad experience; however, yesterday, was the worst experience yet. First, they left me on hold for over 45 minutes because they simply forgot about me, then when I went in person to ask if my prescription was ready. The two women claimed my doctor never faxed it in. Which he absolutely did and showed me the confirmation fax to prove it. The two women then asked me all my personal and identifiable information including my full name, DOB, home address and phone number from across the room. I was forced to yell it so they could hear me, with a line up of people right behind me. Then they acted like I was a huge inconvenience and said they couldn’t help me, and I should call my doctor. I did, and he sent it to a different pharmacy with zero issue.
