You can tour the museum in 10 minutes. Two exhibits, smaller than my bathroom. Ridiculously expensive for the size of it.

Loved the reproduction of the old town, and learning about the local dinosaur species!!!

A ticket for an adult costs $18. At first glance, the museum seems very large, but in fact, in 1.5-2 hours you will get around everything, including visiting souvenir shops. If only there were more exhibits... the Royal Alberta Museum would be much better! There are only two floors for visiting, one of which was half closed. It might be worth visiting their IMAX to soak up all the information.

Used to be a good museum but now it’s garbage. We paid $11 for a ticket and walked around, then got a refund because we were extremely dissatisfied. Not the staff’s fault but the people who decided to demolish half the exhibits. Extremely shameful and disappointing. Do not waste your time. Also, the ship exhibit, mining exhibit, Indigenous exhibit, and euro-Canadian exhibit are all gone.

No popcorn? No hot dogs? Scratched 3D glasses that fall off your nose because they're so poorly made. It was also FREEZING in the IMAX this afternoon. Get it together, IMAX Victoria. And charging full prices despite all the losses? Most of the museum is closed too, awful experience. A waste of money and just an embarrassing on their part. Do better.

A few nice displays and exhibits. Kind of boring. Alot of over the top climate change things.

I don't think that it worth it. I was surprised by the low price, and even more surprised by the content of the exhibits. It might be that things are on going and not ready, but there is nothing impressive, which I can share about my visit to Victoria's Royal BC Museum.

Not worth a visit until they put their world-class collection of Pacific Northwest native art back on display. Currently, they are hiding this all away while they spend years dithering around "reimagining" the museum, which does nothing to honor the First Nations craftsmen who made these objects. For now, it's an expensive visit to view a few secondary exhibits that have mostly been slathered with a patina of woke guilt. Two stars because they do have some interesting totems outside that one can view for free.

One of the best places in Victoria. Great to visit with family and friends!

Many of the displays were closed or under a years-long renovation effort, and an already high price isn't reduced in any way.

Overt far left politics decimates local treasure. There had always been equal representation between old town and the indigenous areas of the third floor. This kind of divisive politcking is bad for Canadians. The most brilliant areas of the museum have become embittered by far left, victim orientated politics. This does not represent the politics or opinions of most British Columbians. It represents the politics of elites and university graduates. Outrageous that this kind of thing is being done to settler heritage, which represents the majority population in Victoria (named after a Queen and modelled after London). An aristocratic trend is raging like a wildfire and miseducating an entire generation. A sad and out of touch guilt haunts the place now.Reinvention could have been done with a deft touch instead of a sledgehammer. I cannot support an organization that betrays our history in such a shocking manner.Never mind that the price was not adjusted.

All the staff is extremely friendly and fun to interact with, especially the gift shop attendants and security. We had a lot of fun viewing the exhibits. The exhibits were very interactive which is great for making the museum more fun for kids. The gift shops have a good variety of pricing to suit all peoples budgets.

Short and sweet.- $29 per adult. Overpriced.- No first nations exhibitions except a language bit by the gift shop.- the angkor exhibition is pretty neat actually.- the dinosaur one is half-baked, kinda laughable honestly.- the BC nature part is pretty cool but could easily be better.- Old Town is forgetful. Kids love it though.
