I would like to share my online experience purchasing a $50.00 Sephora gift card on Dec 17th, 2023. I am not pleased. I paid Sephora an additional $19.95 for overnight delivery. I received a notice from the shipper that my order was"delayed". Weather was blamed. I followed the tracking carefully. My order was processed and sent West. At one point, Harry Houdini was involved, making the order appear in two different locations at the same time. The order was tracked to Richmond BC at 8.32 AM on Dec 20th and simultaneously tracked to Victoria BC at 8.32 AM on Dec 20th. The order was sent to an address in Sooke, BC on Dec 21, the delay blamed on poor weather, although it was sunny, clear and warm that day, and later delivered to me by hand by a neighbour at 12:30 on Dec 23rd. I complained about the non-overnight delivery and I asked for a refund of the shipping fee. The responder blamed poor weather and the Jewish High Holidays for the delay. My response was "Bullshit". The response to that indicated that someone "deemed my problem resolved". Simply put, the overnight delivery was a service not provided. Sephora should refund the shipping fee. The tracking information appears to be fictional for some details, and to blame a major World religion for the delay? Reprehensible.

I went into Sephora planning to spend my birthday money on something nice but the employees wouldn’t stop following me around and staring me down as if I’m doing something wrong. I didn’t end up buying from there just because the employees pissed me off. Very uncomfortable experience.

Always kind and collected. The staff are accommodating with any questions or concerns. I was able to stock up on some skincare and appreciate the assistance and feedback from staff!

As a customer , i had the best experience to be honest. Chloe helped us and she was so wonderful with her work . She explained us everything from basic and showed different stuff for our skincare . She spent a handful time on explaining the product which shows her dedication towards the job. It was so nice to be there . Worth going.Thanks

I shop at sephora a lot, but still feel uncomfortable there around some employees there. Cashiers are not friendly and sometimes seem harsh. Once the cashier asked me if someone helped me, I said yes, but did not know the name of the consultant so I began to describe her appearance, but English is not my native language, so it was difficult for me to explain in details, to which I saw the cashiers looking askance at me because of this and quietly laughing. Almost every time I go to the cash register, I feel humiliated by the looks of the cashiers. But the consultants themselves are always happy to help and I am very pleased to talk with them about makeup. Also the smell of tons of perfumes gives me a headache and dizziness.

Didn't love my experience today. Only asked if I needed help when I opened a drawer to find missing product and then was treated with distain. Definitely recommend treating all ages with more grace.

I had the loveliest experience being assisted by Hailey, the store manager, today. I unfortunately grabbed two incorrect products and had a whole bunch of transactional issues arise because of it. Hailey was quick to solve all of my problems and she was kind enough to give me a few options to choose from. I felt well cared for and she was extremely polite. My purchases were a gift for a close friend and Hailey made sure they were well packaged and sent me off with a smile! I am grateful this is my local Sephora!

I love the products at this store. However the last time I was at the store to purchase something I felt the staff waiting on me was almost rude the way she asked me if she could help me. I am 76 years old, never shop lifted in my life and don't like being treated like one. I was trying to see the price on the item and that is all.

It was great my husband got a beauty product for his birthday! Not sure how his email was in the system already?3 stars only because I'm always being watched even if I'm just standing at the door looking at my tablet. Not even bothering to look around.....just waiting. But that's discrimination at its best.

Lindsay is very knowledgeable. Recommended makeup products and solutions tailored to my needs. Very friendly and professional.Tamara answered all my skincare questions and recommended multiple options. Even provided me with a sample of the product I was most interested in trying out before buying. Great service.

Never had such bad service in vancouver. Victoria store has the worst service of all times.They never allow curbside pick up inspite of the app showing the store being available for curbside pick ups.ALWAYS ORDER ONLINE RATHER THAN DEALING WITH EMPLOYEES WHO DO NOT WANT TO HELP!

Do you promote your employees to cause a scene and accuse teenagers of shoplifting?!Was here today July 28th around 4:45 pm and an Asian female employee with a s*** hair cut black hair with blue in it was yelling at a young teenager. Asking her where she had put a product that the employee had just given her. The girl and her friends told the employee they didn’t speak fluent English. The employee continued to raise her voice more and more asking them where they put the blush obviously insinuating that they were shoplifting. Turns out the blush was in the friends hand and they hadn’t stolen it. They just didn’t understand what the rude employee was asking. Then at the end the employee had the nerve to say ‘looks like you do speak English’.I was appalled at this behaviour. As a retail manager myself I would never dream of treating customers like this.I also was approached several times ‘checking if I needed help’ and just felt as if I was being watched the entire time.I then saw mall security come in and heard an employee demand he walk around the store and watch people.I still purchased $150 worth of stuff today. But think I will make my purchases online from now on. So my purchases don’t go towards making this manager that runs her store like this any money.

Roses to the staff at this location, particularly Carter. My son and I made a purchase last Sunday, and inadvertently left the purchase behind. The staff went over and above to locate the item and put it aside for us until we could return. The icing was that there were a bunch of additional samples in the wee bag when we picked it up. My partner and I decided to have an outing day to ourselves as we rarely get that now with a 2 year old. Went to sephora as my partner wanted to treat me and I was hoping for a bit of guidance on certain products. As soon as we walk in, staff decided to watch us, particularly me (not sure if it's because I'm First Nation's or pregnant or both) instead of offering us help. As we looked through, we stopped to check out the sephora brand makeup and as I was testing a product, a worker came out and asked if we needed any help. She seemed to be suspicious at first but I didn't want to let this ruin our day or chance at finding a good product suited for me. I explained what I was looking for and as she was showing me a few products in different areas, other workers stayed close by watching. I chose to ignore it, but it was definitely making other customers around us feel suspicious of us. Once we got to the till, the service was poor. Not the kind of energy I want around me which is why I normally choose to avoid shopping at this store.
