This is specific to the TD branch on Richmond Rd, Ottawa. The 2 financial advisors are unable to explain their products. They sold a "market rate" GIC but couldn't answer a basic question what is the interest rate (it's variable 15-30% over 5 years) per year and what is that interest rate based on. Also couldn't explain what is the market the market based GIC is tracking. You're better off insisting on a fixed term, fixed rate GIC where you're guaranteed 4-5% per year than this market rate where no one can explain. Finally one advisor said "I've never seen anyone just make 3 %/year (15% divided by 5 years) but I've never seen anyone make the highest rate either". But this was after the GIC was already bought!Do yourself a favour. Research everything before saying yes to a product the TD advisor recommends.

Good hours and location. Staff seem engaged. While they are trained to upsell it's reasonably low key. Staff for the most part still masking. Has two heavily used EV chargers outside.

TD is becoming too expensive to use as my bank. They raise fees and rates while removing services.

They will cancel your appointment for no reason and will send you a email stating that appointment has been cancelled at your request. What a joke! Appointment at 11:00 am Tuesday 28th Feb with Alicia A Brown reason for Cancellation... not even their national representative on the phone can tell i guess they don't even communicate with their own. Oh by the way lets cancel the appointment right when we close so they can't contact the branch at provided number.

I've been a TD customer since 1994 when I was 7 years old. The service has consistently gone downhill every single year, while the wait times have consistently gone up. I don't blame the staff, I blame the business. Don't even bother to try calling TD Bank, credit cards, or TD Waterhouse on the phone, the wait times are impossible. RIP TD.

this isn’t specific to this TD bank, just overall for any location, but the new updated phone menu and phone help for TD sucks. it’s not even worth trying to call, it takes forever. i couldn’t even get past the menu options within 15 minutes to even have my call placed to someone, i do not have time for that. the more people try to improve tech the worse it gets. save yourself the time and frustration and just take a trip in to your local branch and skip the phone stuff all together.

TD funds and invests billions of dollars every year in fossil fuels contributing to global warming. In order to ensure a safe future for this Earth and all beings on it, TD must divest from fossil fuels.

Normally I don't notice service at a bank one way or another. I have to give compliments to this branch and its staff, particullay Satinder, who is always stellar and beyond what is expected. He took what was a bad day (nothing to do with the bank) and made it better

Lockdown is over, let's go bank to regular hours please. Not a branch in town open after 6pm now. The reason I banked with TD was because you were open later than your competition. I'm happy to take my business elsewhere at this point.

I want to say that going into the TD Bank on Shelbourne, we had the best experience! At the time of entry we were greeted quickly and politely. Then getting to the teller we had a complicated situation, and the teller was very polite, respectful, and professional and helped us making the situation less complicated. Then when we booked an appointment to set up a new bank account they were efficient, very knowledgeable, and so very helpful. A HUGE shout out to Sean and Anna, thank you for taking such great care of our banking needs.

Hey TD Why do your hours suck so much?!Closed after 5 and non existent on the weekend?I know that covid has messed up a lot of businesses but not even 5 hours open on a Saturday?Making it really hard to stand behind you as a bank despite decent employees and years of use.Thinking of changing banks
