Last year just after Christmas we went into Home Depot in Langford, BC to order custom window blinds as we have done many times in the past. No one to be found to help. We found a toll-free number to speak with Home Depot installation services. After several weeks and several calls to Home Depot, we finally heard from 3D. We gave them the exact blinds we wanted (from a previous home we purchased for) including reference to a previous quote/order and a very detailed spreadsheet. After several months of getting nowhere, as the individual from 3D could not find the blind in the colour we wanted. I figured out when we finally got a quote (with us changing colour selection) she the wrong blind type selected! Finally, she listened and found that the correct style with the desired colour was available--months later! Quote delivered--missing blinds in the order. Funny--we on initial contact supplied a spreadsheet with all window measurements, blind type and colour. All this could have been avoided, if she just cared to listen. The fun with 3D and Home Depot continued. Blinds were delivered to 3D and an installation date set--5 months later. Installer showed up at 5PM exhausted. Opened the blinds and the blind units (which had a light blocking and sheer) only had the sheers and required chains to be corrected--yep, she screwed up the order! A month later, installer showed up again at the end of the day, again exhausted. He and I fixed some of the blinds, but he needed to again have additional parts ordered and left without finishing the job. At this point, it was six months post going into Home Depot. Installer had parts delivered to our home this time but never arranged to come back and complete the roller retrofits (all units needed to be disassembled, parts changed/added and reassembled) and installation. We are almost a year later. Home Depot finally noticed they never billed the second 50% of the price, but has now done so even though they never completed the install. We were offered $200 compensation along the way but required waiver, which we weren't prepared to sign as the installer hadn't even install half the blinds and we only had half the rollers. So, use caution with Home Depot. Management only once ever followed-up. Home Depot installation services was rude and not helpful. 3D--well, not sure how they are staying in business. Funny--their competition warned me this would happen!

We purchased a new LG washer and dryer from Home Depot, thinking that they were a reputable company. They are not. Nor is LG. The washer didn't work properly from the start. Neither company stands behind their product and refuse to replace it. We have had repair people out several times over the last month and a half to repair our NEW machine and still don't have a functioning machine. We have been loyal LG customers for years. Not anymore. We should have listened to all the recent reviews and nightmare stories. if you buy from them you are taking your chances. You may get lucky but if not don't expect them to care or give you anything but lip service.

Has the best costume service so far compared to other stores. Mostly the staff are knowledgeable and friendly!

Honey, do projects start here. Service is very good for a big box store. The store is very clean too. Found everything I needed quickly.Another tool added to the bunch. Another good experience shopping here. Very impressive customer service. This is why I shop here.More stuff. The Pole saw was purchased last year. It extends from both sides. Has a great reach and power. Drill comes with two batteries.

Today, I want to report about the horrible customer experience interaction that my parents and I had at Home Depot Millstream location. One employee as entering the store decided to give us no attention and would ignore us when asking about a specific toolbox chest drawer that was currently on sale and display outside. After finding it and paying for it, we had figured out and paid for the tool drawer. Different employees came and checked it out and even helped us get it transferred into our car. But to proceed next having the same employee who had ignored us in the beginning start asking for reciepts and talking about how we have purchased the wrong item and we weren’t allowed to buy this. They had began to make a scene with everyone looking around and just gave us overall embarrassment and a bad experience. With other employees already having checked and signed off on everything being good. I’m not sure why she would despite ignoring us give us a hard time at the end and cause unnecessary and complete baseless problems. Her lack of knowledge within her own department is being reflected badly on the store itself and affecting its customer service. We would have not come and purchased an item if we knew how we the customers would be treated like this.I have attached a photo of the item on sale with everything clear of it being purchasable. It was completely that employee being ignorant and under qualified in her customer support,

Great place for getting those house renovation items.s that are sometimes hard to find in other stores. Return policy is great so we can return items if we were not able to use them or left over extras from a project.

Horrible service. They don't even put any effort in to help people. Giving us the running around. The manager wont even look into the order and help the customer to sort the situation. Keeping telling us to phone Saanich store, but actually the order was purchased through Langford.

So how to home delivery marked a big x on the lawn where to land the material? If the driver had to take him two steps to the left he would have seen it instead. Landed all the material in my driveway then I call management just to let them know and management tells me there's always option b. That's no delivery at all!!! Attitude reflects leadership. It starts from the top

The paint department was useless. Confirmed products online that were supposed to be in stock, then came to the store to pick up. Two employees in the paint department did the bare minimum to look at the stock on the shelf, then said they do not have the product, then sat there talking. No effort to look for one of the 8 products the store apparently had in stock. Waste of a drive from downtown Victoria, for no help and poor service. Won't use Home Depot anymore.

We recently had an old window replaced - one in a powder room. The entire process from beginning to end was excellent. The original quote was exactly as expected. I received 3 quotes from other competitors and Home Depot was the best priced option. The windows were actually installed earlier than originally anticipated due to a cancellation which was a pleasant surprise. The installers arrived on time, were courteous, and very professional. Their quality of work was beyond my expectations and they cleaned the entire area of work. I would highly recommend Home Depot to anyone looking to have their windows replaced.

My husband and I had a terrible experience with customer service yesterday, which happened to be Good Friday, at this store. We were looking to buy a vanity that we had confirmed the price of with their staff over the phone prior to coming in. However, when we arrived, the customer service representatives behind the Service Desk refused to honor the price we had confirmed and were hostile towards us. We asked to speak with the manager, but the man who initially came out and claimed to be the manager was not. He denied our request and offered us a price $200 higher than the confirmed price with a contemptuous and mocking attitude. We found this ridiculous and requested to speak with the actual manager. Eventually, a woman named Deepa came and helped us complete our purchase. However, the overall experience was unpleasant. We feel that the customer service representatives at the Service Desk need training on how to provide good customer service. Serving customers is not a privilege, it is their job. We want to buy their products, and we did nothing wrong. Therefore, as customer service representatives, they should be friendly to us.

It's a big box store and we went to buy something very specific. Once down the right Ilse The item wasn't there however we asked a staff member and they helped us out. They quickly found what we wanted on a higher shelf and were very polite. I will shop here again.

Horrible customer service, they had a deal advertised to buy a tool and recive a free battery online says there's 5 in stock. I show up and the tools are there but they sold all the batteries but yet still have the deal posted around the store, then aren't willing to work with me on a deal on a different battery or a rain check for the battery when it comes in stock. Basically wanted me to just buy the tool and not receive the free battery they advertised.

The selection of products in the store has declined, and so has the availability of people to help. HD is good when you need supplies or a part quickly. Just a note to management, if you want me to use your self-checkouts, then I should get a discount for doing your job.
