The owner is very kind and supportive; he goes above and beyond for people he has just met. I also met another staff member who went out of his way to help me out (with something that actually had nothing to do with the parcel I was picking up)! If I could give a bonus star, I would: 6/5 stars for doing your job perfectly, being kind and supportive in the process, caring about the members of your community (even when you just met them), and going WAY above and beyond what your job entails. Without your help, I would have had a terrible day! Thank you!!

Im shocked at how terrible the experience was here. I got sent some packages and came back to this store to pick them up, during the time that was advised on the slip and they were not there. The employees working there said I should have called ahead before coming. What kind of serive is that? I did call ahead the next day and was put on hold for 20 minutes only to find out my package wasnt there agian. They took down my information and said that they would call me back and didn't. I had the person sending me the package cancel the order. This is not the first bad experience with this store or UPS. I highly recommend avoiding either.

Store opens at 10. Got here at 10:15. Employee was just opening the doors when I got here. If this were an independent business I wouldn't care, we're all late sometimes. But this is a big corporation, be on time.

I've been twice to drop off returns, once I got there a bit after closing and the person working there let me drop it anyways. The other time I had friendly service as well.??♀️ Try initiating your request with a greeting or maybe even a smile, might improve your experience lol.

Wow what incredible service! Can’t say enough about the Hillside location. Dealt directly with the owner and he was helpful, and informative. He went out of his way to ensure all customers were looked after. 100% recommend!

Like many other reviews of this UPS store I can confirm they do not open when they say they will. They actually have taken their hours of operation off of the door. This is easily one of the weakest UPS stores I've ever seen

Wasted my time on Saturday attempting to pick up a package because Google claimed they were open on Saturdays. They are not - they're only open 10:30am-4:30pm on weekdays, which is not very convenient at all.

Showed up just after 5pm on a Friday. Supposed to be open till 530 (per website). Just a "back in 5 mins" note on the window. Luckily a couple pulled up to let me know they had seen the worker leave for the day. No notice on the door that the store was closing early or anything.

5 Stars based off the fact that I paid for a package to be delivered across the continent in 48-72 hours and it ended up getting there in 18 hours.I would however like to ask some real questions about how this business operates, in particular when it comes to security.How is it that you think it is ok to keep racks of both incoming (pickups) and outgoing packages feet from the entrance door? I understand that you would obviously do your best to keep an eye on them, but that isn't good enough. Those packages need to be stored in a secure location! Is your back room not big enough/non-existent? Do you only have them out there in that spot of the store (by the door) during short window(s) of time each day?Never in my life have I seen a Canada Post/UPS/FedEx/Purolator location look like that.....Because it isn't allowed to be like that. In my 45 minutes (4:45 PM-5:30 PM) in the store (customer ahead of me took forever while I patiently waited....not your fault), I saw multiple people come in for pickups and be told to "look over there" (the pickup rack) for their package. It did not seem to be in alphabetical order on the rack, just a massive pile of packages.Where is the sorting system? Any semblance of organization?I hope there was a good reason why I saw all this.I look forward to a response. Thank you for your time reading about my experience and the concerning practices that I saw take place.

The owner (woman in first photo) was incredibly rude, sarcastic, and generally unpleasant. The other people were fine, and wanted to make up for her rudeness. Avoid if possible, go to the locations downtown or Oak Bay instead.

This review is for the Hillside location. I dealt with Mara. I needed to ship 7 paintings to my sister in Pennsylvania USA. They were glass framed paintings. Mara was so helpful in how to ship them and describing how the would be packed. My sister called to say they all arrived with no issues as was very impressed with the packing.Thank you Mara for the time you spent with me as I recognized while there you have a very busy store with little help. I will use your service again. Thank you so much for all your caring in how my packages would get there.Vicki

Customer service is so bad here I dont even know how this store is still open. The old long haired lady, I think she runs it is an absolute nutcase! It was so bad there I can't even start, save your time and sanity and bypass this place and head straight to Oak Bay UPS!

The hands on service at this location is outstanding. I have been using them for my shipping for the past 3 years and they are always kind and conscientious. This is my favourite UPS store in Victoria!

Showed up 5 minutes to closing and had one of the smoothest shipping experiences of my life. Both the gentleman sorting packages and the lady at the desk were super helpful and kind. I expected to need to buy a little box, the man gave me a bag and told me that they're free. I expected to be required to attach the documents and wrap the package myself, the lady took all the pieces and said that I was good to go!! My Amazon return arrived and I got my refund.To the 1-star people out there: Maybe be respectful and don't expect a bad experience? Maybe show up with extra time so that you can wait while they're busy? Smile and say thank you, even when getting bad news? Put out the vibes you want to have come your way?Good luck.

It's Wednesday March 15th, 9:26am.I'm sitting outside in my vehicle waiting for someone to open this store as they seem to ignore their own hours of operation (posted on the door, online, and when you call the shop and get the recording).There are literally couriers from other companies also waiting here, which is just disrespectful to these hardworking individuals as well.This isn't great. Don't go here.
