The Whole Beast is a celebrated local shop for cured meats and charcuterie, considered the best on the island. It offers an unbelievable variety and excellent quality that is harder to find in North America, including unique finds like 'nduja, tasso ham, house salamis, smoked ham, and pepperoni. Their chicken liver mousse is out of this world, and the Saturday char siu and fresh chorizo are also hits. Customers recommend not forgetting a stack of fuet, calling it a fantastic discovery they wish was even more convenient to visit regularly.
Oh, I wish I wish I wish we had some place like this in Tokyo. Loved coming home to be introduced to this shop. A beautiful variety of meats and various seasonings, and, according to my friend, a very hot butcher.

If you like cured meats and you haven't been to the Whole Beast I argue that you've never truly had cured meats. Best on the island, bar none.

This is the only place is Greater Victoria that has these kinds of cured meats and variety. Unbelievably good food. So badly wish they had one in Langford so I could eat it all the time.
