Hard to find anything good that's decently priced. Not sure why they mark stuff up so high for inflation when they get everything for free...I remember going in there like five to ten years ago and being able to leave with four to five items and only spending a cool $20Men's section over-pick by white teenage girls...

Lots of variety, however no change rooms. Able to try on clothes in front of mirrors. Bring your own bags and lots of patience! Lots of good finds here if you're willing to put the time in

VV is not what it used to be.No more familiar faces at the checkouts - oh right it's all self checkouts - higher prices, lots of clothing all wrinkled and not in good condition. And what's with the security guard? Creepy. PS the tag on the coat in the photo says $79.99!!!

I would give zero stars if I could. The selection is decent (store is huge) but the prices are insane. You can find better prices if you buy new. The store is crowded & hot. These are not thrift prices at all. Attached a photo of a STAINED and ripped overpriced jacket. Please do not waste your time or give in to these money grabbing thieves.

Solid thrift store will a wide variety of clothing and home good items. We were able to come here and grab several kitchen/living room items in one trip. The prices for individual items are pretty high, so not as cheap as some other thrift stores we've been to. But the quality of the clothing and home goods seems to be pretty good.

I don't go here because it's an amazing value village I go here because it is THE value village... Thrift store shopping in Victoria kind of sucks. You get lucky sometimes. I have lived all over BC and Alberta and Washington and Oregon and I'm afraid I have nothing special to say about this particular value village at all... I've literally found better stuff at every single one except for maybe back just before 2010.I found an autographed Avril Lavigne shirt here once and they refused to sell it to me when they saw that it was autographed. Yes, they confiscated it from me at the checkout. My friend once found a pair of women's underwear on the rack on a hanger with a used menstrual pad still inside.I am extremely skeptical when I shop here. It's only getting a second star because of its convenient location.

This place is pretty average for a thrift store. It's a bit sketchy, but has such a wide variety of clothing and other items. The one thing I'd remark is that it's pretty expensive for a thrift store. I go thrifting to get good deals, not to get a shirt for the same price as one that's new. It's pretty rare that I find good deals, but I still like to support thrift stores.

When items are priced as if they were new in the box, however clearly are not in that condition, it defeats the point of a thrift store. The staff are friendly and polite, it's fairly clean but the value in value village just isn't there. Even with inflation you can shop at a big box store for the same price .

I love VV, but I also hate VV. Amazing selection and the staff there is wonderful, but then there are things like this shell of a computer for $40... Who TF is possibly going to pay that? Is there a deeper reason behind why this literal piece of garbage is $40? The person who "donated" this should have been turned away, but for some reason, it was not, and now their garbage is going to be sitting on the shelf forever. Then there are the $7 used coffee mugs... might as well go buy a new one without stains and chips for the same price at Winner's. Don't get me wrong, treasures can be found, and there is something for everyone. You just have to be willing to spend hours and dig, and know that thrifting isn't as inexpensive as you think it is. This location is always really busy and there is no parking FYI (pay lot nearby).

Found this place after strolling around Victoria. This wasn’t the typical Value Village I’ve been to. Surprisingly everything was nicely organized so items were easy to find. They also have a section to buy instruments right by the self-counter.They also had Wii game CDs around $6- $7 as well. I was so impressed to see one of the cleanest Value Village here. Even the washroom was clean here. Huge selections! I also found out there’s only one Value Village here in Victoria.

I was down in Victoria and decided to pop in to VV to see what treasures I could find. I found a few. I did find more than my budget allowed me. I had to put a few things back. The store was busy, it was a Saturday. I was lucky to find parking on the street right out front. This store is more pricy than other thifts or VV. Be prepared for that. It has self check outs, the staff where pleasant but not overly helpful. Likely, because the staff numbers have been reduced and they were busy.

An amazingly amount of stuff to preuse... I'm a household junkie!Looking for area rugs the don't break my bank.Items are more expensive than Sally Anne and Beacon, and Value Village is a for-profit enterprise... I thought it was not.Still I donate and appreciate the staff at the Victoria store - nice people.30% off Tuesday for 60+ is impressive!
