I've shopped here for many years. I cannot afford to buy things in shopping malls. I enjoy helping out other women so I'm glad the profits go towards programs for women.Having said that, I find the whole 'regular item' priced clothing and the 'boutique item' priced clothing infuriating. This is especially in regards to their Plus size clothing.Retail Plus size clothing is usually more expensive, most regular stores have a very limited selection and its quite often ugly. There are Plus sized 'specialty' clothing stores that are always more expensive than the 'normal/average' sized places. It's very difficult to find something I like and can actually afford. It's discriminatory and demoralizing. Its like being punished and excluded because of my size. I'm not even that big.Maybe it's better at the other WIN locations, but at the Cook street location the Plus size clothing is in a separate miniscule section. TINY. Then to add insult to injury at least half of those items are deemed to be 'boutique' so more expensive. It really sucks, especially in a store trying to lift women up?! It's hard enough being designated 'Plus' size because it definitely does not feel like a plus or advantage. It is a huge DIS-advantage!The selection is already ridiculously limited. Do they really have to make it even more difficult to find anything to buy by making them more expensive as well?! Answer: No. Just leave the Plus sizes at the regular price for the love of God!!!Please don't tell me it's for the sake of being fair to all the 'regular' size customers. There's nothing fair about this situation. Nothing.

I shop a lot and I am very conscious about buying new and 2nd hand items. Some prices at this thrift store are decent but when it comes to shoes, clothing & accessories they're overpriced which doesn't make sense as most of those items go through wear and tear so better buy brand new instead of 2nd hand.

I’m afraid they are terribly overpriced in the furniture area. For example, $99 for a run down ikea dresser is just to much. The clothing is reasonable though.

One of my favourite thrift stores in town. Good selection of housewares and kids stuff. The furniture shop is also awesome and I love their selection of affordable craft supplies.
