Over priced items. Margins (mark up) on most products are way too high… specially bought a 4 pack of Schneider's Jms Original Hot Rod Sausage Snacks keep in mind the tiny ones 8grams. This cost me $7.50 for 4 units. You can buy the whole box of 20 rods for $7.50 at Walmart…Rip off. If your desperate and need a last minute item. Sure waste your money.Highly suggest just going to the grocery store. Will probably be 25% to 50% cheaper. All in all, was over charged and am extremely disappointed as I was a regular. Just going to save my money and shop elsewhere.

Happy to find a place with Korean items as I don't find Victoria a place to easily find ethnic produce... Only bought a couple items but will return

I buy my lotto and occasional snacks here. It seems alright, perhaps a bit dated and grubby. The ATM usually works, the lotto machine works, etc. Staff are nice.

Very pleasant staff, always polite and friendly. Special mention for Allen, he is very nice to interact with.Lots of different kinds of lottery tickets available if that's what you want, something hard to find at many places in Victoria.A small store but always busy.

For those who thinks that price of items in this store is a little elevated, welcome to your local indie convenience store!Winks is a unique little store specializing in Asian/Korean food in addition to all the necessities one may ever need. Super nice staff. Conveeenient!!Another story:My 78 yr old mother wondered in this store, holding her mobile on her ear, 2 wks ago, May 25, just after the pandemic restriction was loosened up. She has not gone anywhere for 2.5 months, but this day she was missing for 3 5 hours, walked 20 minutes to her bank and had gone in 2 different taxis. She did not answer my calls and texts. The owner of Winks, Allen, happened to be there and witnessed my mother going into his store, going straight for the ATM bitcoin machine. She fumbled with the machine with one hand, the other holding the phone on her ear. Allen came out from behind the counter stopped my mother to further doing anything else. He talked to the so called "RCMP officer" on the other line but they hang up. If Allen did not intervene, who knows where my mom would have ended up. She had been directed to 3 places: the bank to take all her money out, Freddie's Market on Fort, but the machine there did not work, and Winks, which has similar machine. Please educate the elderly in your community from scammers. I wish there are more people like Allen. Thank you, Allen. ????
