The large, attractive space is well organized. Readers can move easily to sections that offer subjects of interest. Indigo also sells non-book items that are mostly personal care and gift items. My interactions with staff were entirely satisfactory.
Persons with mobility challenges and others will be concerned about the lack of seating in this bookshop. That is obviously by design. The company wants buyers, not browsers.
A comment on Reddit said, "Indigo is slowly but surely turning their stores into lifestyle department stores instead of community hub style bookstores." It isn't easy today for brick-and-mortar retailers to compete with online sellers, so we must accept Indigo's product mix and retailing style.
