I’m extremely disappointed with the service my mom and her friend received at the MAC store at Park Royal, particularly from a sales associate named Nikiya. My mom went in to exchange a product for a different color, but instead of providing helpful service, Nikiya was rude and unprofessional. My mom and her friend struggled to communicate in English, so they had to call me for assistance. When I spoke with Nikiya on the phone to help resolve the situation, she insisted they needed to use a translator, despite me already explaining the situation. She then got upset with me when I politely pointed out that I work in customer service too and that she should be offering assistance to my mom in a more respectful manner.
Things only got worse when Nikiya rudely handed the phone back to my mom and continued to make her feel uncomfortable while trying to test a different color. The entire experience left my mom feeling awful, which is unacceptable. I’ve never encountered such poor customer service, and it’s deeply disappointing because I’ve always loved MAC products. After this, though, I’m seriously considering shopping elsewhere, either at Sephora or online. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this store again, as the attitude and lack of empathy shown were completely uncalled for.

oh my god the girl with glasses destroyed my day… she was very very rude.. i had to buy lipstick.. she was showing attitude like that i am buying something free.. please don’t visit here

Park Royal Location - Nice until you don't like the product! I purchased the black paint pot to use as eyeliner and had fallout in my under eye area half way through the day so I came in to exchange it for a lighter color to use as shadow/shadow base. I purchased art therapeachy and liked the color in store but as soon as I got in the car it looked way to pink on me so I immediately went back to exchange it for a more neutral color.
The two sales reps who were polite prior immediately changed their tone and were talking about the situation discreetly among themselves. The one who processing the transaction was flat out rude completely inappropriate and unprofessional with her tone regarding it being a final sale and that normally "three exchanges" are not allowed. Is scolding you're customers and speaking about them behind their back MAC's behavioural protocol? Unbelievable, does she think this is going to attract return customers? That left a poor taste in my mouth and I won't be returning if this is the way they treat people.
Last time I was in the same store I heard the same sales associate talking about another customer who was in the store at the time. I guess this is common place here.
This greatly differs from any of the experiences I have had at Sephora. They have no issues exchanging an item twice if need be if you're unhappy with it and come back within the time frame! I would highly recommend purchasing from there instead!

Katie Lopes was wonderful. She has great customer relation skills and excellent knowledge of the products. She helped me, a non maker up user, find a subtle look for my upcoming wedding. I really enjoyed my experience in the store. She was great.

I would like to give a shout out to Isa who is always there to help me with a big smile and is always very helpful and kind. Every time I go into the store she is modeling a lipstick and then I usually have to buy it because it looks so good on her! A shining star! Thanks Isa.
