I was lucky enough to be directed to this office by a friend and met Mr.Chr.who arranged the private hip surgery that I needed so badly.

I had a total left knee replacement carried out by Dr. Steven Kassman in Phoenix (OrthoArizona Scottsdale) on July 9, 2025 at Timely Medical’s recommendation. Dr. Kassman is an excellent and experienced surgeon who paid close attention to my medical history and my issues with my knee. He has an infra structure that includes a state of the art private surgical centre staffed with knowledgeable and experienced nurses and anaesthetists. In addition, he works with a “concierge”, Ellie Gibson, who took care of the logistics of getting me to and from the surgical centre, from and to the airport, shopping for food, pre and post op procedures including arranging for a physiotherapist to visit me at my hotel post op. The result is that in addition to excellent medical treatment, the whole experience was hassle free. I would recommend Timely Medical, Dr. Kassman and Ellie Gibson very highly.

I needed hip surgery and the public wait times are very long. I used Timely Medical to book a private surgery. I am impressed with how everything went. One of the clinics they recommend is in Montreal which is the one I used.
Timely Medical is able to explain everything and make the whole process go smoothly. The surgery went very well. If you are considering going private you should consider talking to Timely.

Guaranteed impeccable service in healthcare, professionalism, and time sensitivity! Fear teaches you to be cautious, careful, and conscientious. It also forces you to be creative, compassionate, and calculating. Have given numerous referrals as we are so thankful as they are the biggest blessing to life (with a man surviving the widow maker, that was undiagnosed but just told multiple blockages and given a bottle of nitroglycerin and sent away by Alberta healthcare!). Got angiogram and double bypass done in few days instead of months in the system. Hospital was first class and very knowledgeable, clean and not only did they care about the patient, they took time in caring for the family. Our family could not refer timely medical enough for making the transition to the USA seamless!! Don’t hesitate; Our complaints and doubts, however, come from an individual that has forgotten that planted and buried are the same thing, but a choice in perception. I am a Canadian. Timely Medical Alternatives Inc. facilitated both of my total hip replacements in the United States, one in 2019 and the other earlier this month. In both cases, I had no cartilage and, hence, no joint space left. Both hips joints were bone-on-bone. Needless to say, I was in excruciating pain, barely able to walk, and no longer able to sit or sleep comfortably. I could not possibly have waited in the Canadian healthcare system for 1.5 to 2 years for surgery. Because this lengthy delay would have further jeopardized my physical and mental health and, ultimately, my quality of life, I opted to seek care in the United States.
Christian and his team at Timely Medical were very professional, right from my initial contact with them until my return to Canada. The entire process went smoothly both times. I only waited a few weeks for my surgeries. I could have had them done even sooner, but I picked dates that worked with my schedule. The orthopaedic surgeon they arranged to do both surgeries has his practice in Phoenix. He is excellent and is an expert in robotic-assisted total hip replacements. This technology facilitates a higher degree of precision during the operation and, ultimately resulted in my leg lengths being equal, which is so important because unequal leg lengths can cause other orthopaedic problems.
Christian’s company was also able to organize a beautiful rental home purposely outfitted for post surgical recovery of people having undergone total hip and knee replacements. All of the necessary medical equipment was there, including a curbless walk-in shower and shower chair. They also arranged for an excellent physiotherapist—affiliated with my surgeon—to come to the home to help me start my rehabilitation immediately the day after surgery. Having this ideal home to recover in and a physiotherapist who did in-home therapy made going out of the country for surgery so much less worrisome.
My physiotherapist back in Canada has called me “the poster child” for total hip replacement. He stated he has never encountered a patient so advanced in their recovery after such a short period following surgery. If I had a third arthritic hip, I would not hesitate to do this all over again!!
I highly recommend Timely Medical Alternatives. It is because of them and the amazing care they organized for me that I have been able to return to an excellent quality of life so quickly.

I suffer with osteoarthritis and for the second time in 10 years, Timely Medical Alternatives has helped me get me health back after Alberta Healthcare failed me. In 2012 I needed back surgery for laminectomy with fusion. For 2 years I went through all the hoops; chiropractor, acupuncture, PT, working with a nuerologist, and even after an MRI diognosed my problem I was refused as a surgical patient. Timely Medical helped me find a surgical hospital in the States to fix my back problem. It's been 10 years and my lower back has been painfree since my surgery. Then, last year my hip gave out on me and I was sent to the Calgary Hip and Knee clinic. In July I was approved for a new hip, however the wait time was 1 to 1 1/2 years down the line. I thought I could wait, but in October the pain was so severe that I couldn't sleep, sit or walk my dog. Timely Medical again helped me find a surgical hospital in the U.S. to replace my hip. My hip surgery was in January and I am walking farther now than I have since last summer. When it comes to urgency our social medicine works well. But I feel that if our medical condition is not serious like cancer or heart disease, we are put on a long wait list or denied proper help all together. Thank you Timely Medical Alternatives for helping me once again to regain a painfree lifestyle.

They were able to expedite my hip replacement surgery in less than 3 weeks with an orthopedic surgeon in Phoenix, AZ. I am so thankful to have found Timely and get my much needed surgery so quickly. Rick had helped me find a top notch surgeon in Oklahoma. As a frustrated Ontarian, it was a pleasure knowing that someone like Rick is out there to advocate on behalf of Canadians needing surgery now, not when the government has time or room.Rick is trustworthy and respectful.Don't live in pain waiting for c19 restrictions to end. These folks are the alternative.

My wife found Timely Medical while doing internet search for hip replacement in USA. After our initial contact with Christian Baker we received all the information we needed to arrange surgery with Dr KASSMAN. After sending the appropriate medical information to Timely Medical we received an email and then a phone consultation with Dr KASSMAN. Within 6 weeks my wife had surgery on her hip. Her recovery has been amazing - up and walking within 24 hours at the hospital, transitioned to a cane within 5 days under the supervision of an excellent physio, Dillon Harris. The whole experience was smooth and now my wife , who is almost 2 months post-op, walks with no cane and most importantly no pain. I am very very thankful to Rick Baker for instantly putting me in touch with the best spine surgeon. I was in great distress and pain and got their reference from a friend. I called the number and Rick picked up and talked, I had the images ready which I courier to him the same day. Next day I got the approximate cost from them and they put me in touch directly with the surgeons office. Thereafter I was directly in touch with the surgeon's office and I went under the surgeon's knife in 3-4 weeks time. I am now recovering very will pain free, 2 months post surgery. Rick or his son did not demand a cent from me, they get paid by the clinic. I thank the Bakers for their "Timely" assistance.
