Booked for an allignment and was told to get there early just before 8am to get the truck on the lift asap. Got there at 7:45, waited for an hour. Nobody turned up. Drove up the road and got a booking elsewhere, came back and people still waiting around for it to open. First time using this mechanic and didn’t even get in the door. Looked like mechanics were waiting outside but they didn’t want to talk. Other customers and delivery drivers were waiting around as well. Not a great first impression.

The team at local have serviced my cars since moving to Whistler in 2010. Back then I had a 1998 ford explorer and now we have 8 cars in our fleet including small all wheel drive, trucks, electric cars and a Range Rover, this crew can do it all.
The service has just got better and better over the years, Sean and Ken always go over and above to make sure our cars are back on the road quickly and safely even if it means working until 8pm.
Can’t thank them or recommend them enough. Huge shout out to local auto team

Amazing service, our car was having issues on the way into whistler. I called every auto shop in town and this place was the only one that took us in last minute and fixed our issue SAME DAY! We were able to enjoy the rest of our trip without any issues!

Highly recommend!! Called at 8:15am with an emergency after my check engine light started flashing the evening before I was due to catch a ferry to the island for a new job. Ken didn't hesitate to tell me to come by asap and in just a couple of hours I had new coils, spark plugs and a working car, all at a reasonable price too. I cannot express how grateful I am that the guys were able to help me out of a stressful situation despite already being busy. If I was staying in Whistler then Local Automotive would 100% be the place I'd go to for any car issues. Thanks again a million!!

Had such an amazing experience with Local Automotive. Had an issue with my car on the way to Whistler, called BCAA and they towed me to this shop. Ken took such great care
of us and made sure we were back in our cars that very day. Highly recommend if you break down around the Whis area. 100/10
