This locally owned and operated pharmacy is not only aesthetically pleasing and conveniently located with ample free parking, but it’s also open six days a week and consistently well-staffed as I’ve never had to wait more than 3 minutes in line. What truly sets this pharmacy apart is the outstanding team of professionals. They are knowledgeable, considerate, professional, and honest. More importantly, they are resourceful and always operate within the framework of their patients’ best interests. While this should be standard in the industry, it’s unfortunately not—especially in the Cariboo. Hats off to the entire team for making my prescription needs a straightforward, hassle-free experience!”

    “Will only shop at this grocery store in Williams Lake. Crystal went above and beyond to support me at the check out. I had realized I was too ambitious in thinking I could grocery shop with a baby and toddler and get out in time to pick my kindergartener from school. Her help at the check out was immensely appreciated and I am very grateful for her attentiveness.”

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
