These 5 stars are for the maintenance workers. Shout out to Matt, Jose, and Randy. They are polite, capable, and respectful of your space. Admin is hit and miss since they're corporate, they get 2 stars. So you can assume 1) they will raise your rate the max legal amount every year, and 2) they will do nothing proactively to improve tenant quality of life. Because of poor building design, there are lots of mold issues in bathrooms, not just us, but multiple tennants over the years (fake air vents that don't actually vent outside) and legally, they don't need to fix this because of when the building was built; only applies to new buildings. Decks get crazy hot and only when you complain enough about it do they replace the paint to something objectively cooler that they have waiting in stock (verified with IR temp gun). Long story short, the workers are great and kind, those in charge of money and decisions are corporate. So judge accordingly.

Matt and Randy are legit. I manage dozen of properties myself in Malibu and understand what should be done and how to be handled and Matt and Randy always go above and beyond to fix and knock out to do lists for us.

Matt & Randy took care of our home like true professionals. They fixed all the issues with real craftsmanship and were respectful of our privacy and time. It’s refreshing finally finding an apartment home with an amazing community and staff (especially knowing that if we have a home concern or repair the maintenance professionals are 5 star ⭐️). My A/C quit working and in less than an hour of reporting it Randy and Matt replaced the motor, cleaned the housing and I had cool air again. Thank you so much very grateful.

I have been living at country oaks almost 3 years now! I give 5 stars for the overall experience vs the perfectionism of an apartment complex. This recent review is to give Matt and Marisa a shoutout for helping me with a washer issue. My washer has been giving me difficulties through the years and finally broke down. It has been a seamless process as I just received a new washer and dryer which is an upgrade from the old set. The team made sure i was accommodated the whole time for my laundry and the replacement was well worth the wait.

Matt has been extremely helpful each time he comes by to fix and address any repairs or make any adjustments to the apartment. I appreciate his work ethic and friendly vibe. I’m very glad to have him around to help.

Three stars. The maintenance people are friendly and helpful. The location is nice and the apartments are roomy. However, there were a lot of maintenance issues with the new apartment from broken dishwasher to plumbing issues. Also, be prepared to deal with horrible invasions of ants during the spring and summer. We have been battling them constantly as these old apartments are full of holes in the walls and floors that easily let the ants in.
One other disappointing issue. We moved here partly because of all the trees and the park-like atmosphere. Now they are cutting down dozens of decades old large trees completely ruining the natural aspect. Plus now with the shade trees gone, the AC bills will increase due to the direct intense sun on the buildings.

Matt & Randy were awesome! Quick action taken on a leak that was noticed late in the evening. Next day check early up on issue, drywall replaced & patched within days & it’s as if nothing was wrong👍🏼 Thanks to the awesome maintenance team for this speedy process!🤗

I moved into Country Oaks in 2024, and while my short time here has included its share of frustrating unit issues. Ranging from plumbing to electrical, one consistent bright spot has been the exceptional service provided by Matt.
Each time a problem arises, Matt responds quickly, professionally. Whether it's a leaky faucet or an electrical issue, he handles it with care and precision. His reliability and skill have made a difference in my experience here.
While no one enjoys dealing with maintenance problems, I know that as soon as Matt arrives, the issue will be resolved properly and promptly. His dedication to keeping things running smoothly at Country Oaks truly stands out. I am rating Matt’s service 5 stars!
