Dr. Thomas has been my doctor for nearly a decade, her ability to understand and take into consideration what is important to me as a patient makes me feel loved and cared. Even her staff is amazing and compassionate.

I was very excited to have scheduled an appointment here. It was a follow up appointment for a collapsed lung from a snowboarding injury. It turns out, the entire time I was meeting with the doctor, she was under the impression it was a spontaneous collapsed lung from smoking. She was very clear that I need to stop smoking. She told me she will not prescribe any pain medication but is happy to give me anxiety medication. She did not seem invested in my health in any way, and I was only able to get helpful information from her because I was persistent in asking questions. I don't feel any better after this appointment. Will not come back.

Had a bad experience at this place start to finish. It's difficult to share all the details as some of it is private medical information but I'll hit the main (numerous) low points. The front office person is curt-the type that doesn't even look at you when you're talking to her. Then the medical assistant argued with me about being weighed even though I said no. (Being weighed wasn't necessary info for the appointment.) And FYI fellow patients, it isn't necessary info for most appointments so feel free to deny it. There are so many people with deeply disordered relationships with food and therefore with weight/being weighed, that medical professionals should take more care in this area. The medical assistant made a disgustingly insulting comment about being weighed, saying I need to do it because I "should want to know" what I weigh. Not only highly unprofessional, but also a moronic comment, as we all know what our own bodies look like. Then there's Lucille - she was brief and cold during her portion of the appt, which felt like defensiveness/punishment directed towards me for defending myself against her rude assistant. If I'm wrong about the reasoning, the briefness and coldness facts remain. Re: meds, Lucille messed up my dosage and blamed it on her assistant. Even if it was true it was telling of her character. She should be double checking those things. It's her medical license on the line. Luckily I noticed or I would've been substantially under medicating myself for months. That kind of mistake is grossly irresponsible. Unluckily, I didn't notice until after I'd already paid for the wrong Rx so then I had to waste my time going back and forth with her office, trying to get a refund for the first Rx, or get comped for the correct one.The purpose for my visit was re: the management of an ongoing health issue. Management of it requires frequent lab draws. The follow up after my first lab draw was in the form of a voicemail. Many of my labs were abnormal. All I was given via that rushed voicemail was very general "advice" re: changes to make. (I've since learned from a different primary care doctor AND specialist, that alarms should've been raised at that time re: my labs.) Months of taking new meds go by, which according to Lucille, should have positively affected my labs, so it's time for the followup lab draw. I have to ask her for this order, (idk why it wasn't in the system already), and then she doesn't even bother to order the labs for most of the things that were showing abnormal for me months prior. *I* had to chase her down and ask if she needed that info, because it seemed like a no brainer to me-why wouldn't she follow up on those? Unfortunately, asking for her to check these abnormal labs was a problem for her apparently, because she was rude to me and I was treated like an annoyance for asking her about them via her online patient portal. When I pointed out her rudeness she tried to cover herself with a vague defense of, 'it being difficult to handle medical care online'. Ugh, ya, I agree. But I'm not asking for medical care, I'm merely asking about labs that should be followed up on, something we already discussed, and I'm doing it through *your* patient portal. Her rudeness made no sense. I said as much in my final response to her.I assume she didn't like her rudeness being called out, because instead of following up with me about my new labs and a follow-up appointment, (as was the pre discussed plan), she basically dumped me and told me I should see a specialist. She's right in that, I discovered how woefully ill equipped she is to handle my health issue, and I should absolutely go to someone that actually has strong medical knowledge. But it's also worth noting that a previous primary care doctor of mine handled this ongoing condition just fine. (Sadly I had to move and can't see her anymore.) I would avoid Lucille at all costs. She is one of the

This doctor shouldn't be allowed to practice medicine. Her first question to me was why I was why did I move here and why see her. She drilled me with questions then felt my throat, listened in two places on my chest and told me she needed my records and referrals to pain managent, Hepatology, Hematology and podiatrist and left the room. I asked for prescription refill but she insists I see pain management. As for the office- they play video promotions for face lift, skin tightening and non surgical procedure for improving your looks!

This woman is so weird! My wife and I went here to get our annual physicals and all she did was question why we were getting physicals 10 months after our previous physical instead of 12 months. It wasn't like a passing comment, it was like a 20 minute discussion where we both separately felt we needed to prove to her we were worthy of getting the physical. It was really strange. Then some lady who barely spoke English called us a few days later and quickly said our blood results came back fine, and when I asked a question, she said "thank you, bye" and hung up on me. To top it off, after going to a separate doctor, we've come to find my wife's blood isn't fine and there's some major issues she missed. Don't go to this strange woman. She's strange and incompetent.

I finally found my forever doctor with Dr. Thomas. After searching for a doctor who I felt listened to my concerns and was proactive with regular exams and testing, I can happily say I do not need to look any further. Her staff is also very caring and happy to answer any of my many questions. I recently had a lapse in coverage and the office worked with me to make the additional payments more manageable. Best doctor with a great bedside manner. You will not be disappointed.

I love it at Dr. Lucille Thomas’s. The staff is helpful and friendly and regardless of if you care about that I do. The doctor asks more questions than I do and gets to the bottom of what’s going on with me. She does not forget a thing! She truly cares! A doctor that cares and fully examines you. You have a question, she wants to help. I adore her, she is a real caring person and doctor. I drive from west la to her, it’s a hike and I look forward to it. If you know than you know.
