This is a perfect beauty shop. I've been to many over the years, but this spot just captures everything I love about style + beauty in one place. They've got absolutely everything for hair and nails, it's well-curated and they don't sell junk, the price is right on everything, and best of all they've got cool people who inspire running the store. Whether you've a pro, a home stylist, a really excited teenager, or just someone who loves playing with style, this place has the vibe. Everyone is super helpful and nice, great expert knowledge on everything, no weird attitudes, no sales pressure, everything you want and nothing you don't. Due to their helpful attitudes I have never once regretted my purchase and actually I cherish every product they've ever turned me onto. I walk out of here feeling slightly better about the world every time. What you'll find: clippers GALORE, blowdryers GALORE, all the scissors and blades you've ever wanted, very complete assortment of nail polish, hair products, and lash accessories, basically everything you'd need to run a barber shop or salon except chairs and mirrors. This place has everything you need and a whole lot that you've never even heard of let alone need... they have a lot of tools and devices for diy for highlights, perms, crazy things from the past few decades that are interesting The owner is usually there and very pleasant She's more than happy to help with any questions or advice u may need. She always has a big smile on her face. She was truly a lifesaver last week when I couldn't get in to see my stylist until after the holiday. It was literally 5:59pm when I had pulled up in front of the store. She happily let me in while she was talking to someone on a phone but didn't have a problem with me going to grab what I needed even though they officially close @6pm. I purchased what I needed and then was on my way, totally relieved and content! I

Such a wonderful store with a very large selection of all thing beauty related. The staff is very friendly and they keep it very clean. The atmosphere is so much nicer than going into larger department stores. Happy to support this local business!

I ordered a hot air brush over 2 weeks ago and I still haven't got my product. I have emailed them and have gotten no response. They don't have a problem taking your money, but they have a problem giving it back. Never got the product or a refund!

I didn't even know about this place. A relative had me go to pick up something for them since they couldn't. Nice local beauty salon with a decent variety of products. The girl that helped me was very nice, friendly, and helpful. Forgot to ask her name. I always love including names whenever I can, but maybe next time. Well, she's blonde, if that helps the owner trying to identify who I'm talking about LOL. Some products were very pricey from what I saw and my relative did say the same thing but it was something she needed right away so that's why she had me buy it from here even though it was $8 more for a small product, compared to where she usually gets it from. It's nice to have such a store in the neighborhood for convenience so that's a plus. The parking is great. You can park right in front of the store, it's in a big plaza. They don't accept returns, just exchange or store credit, which is totally understandable for a small business.

I am writing this to make people aware of a local store that is blatantly taking advantage of customers. Two days ago, I went into Kanan Beauty Supply to buy a product that I consistently purchase from that store. In fact, I buy all of my hair products there. They were out of the normal 150 ml size, so I bought the 75 ml product. I noticed when I got home that I paid $1.00 less for the product half the size. I normally purchase the larger size so I did not pay too much attention to cost. The next day, I went back to Kanan Beauty Supply to ask if this was mistakenly priced and to see if I could get a partial refund since I am only buying half of the 150 ml. I understand that stores mark up the smaller item to encourage purchase of the larger more expensive item, but a dollar off of a product half the size seemed like a mistake had been made by the store. I asked for the manager and was told that there is no manager working for that store; only employees. I brought both bottles and showed both prices. If was her rudeness and response that really upset and surprised me since this is my neighborhood store that I have spent hundreds of dollars, maybe thousands, for years on hair products. I am one to support our local businesses until I feel that I am taken advantage of. She told me that the price is not a mistake and that this is how much they want to charge since they don't have the larger product. Basically, she said, in other words, since they could not get the larger product from the vender, they don't want to lose money and are charging that price. Why should the customer take the brunt of that? I asked her that question, and she said that is how much they want to charge, and it was my choice to buy it. She is correct that it was my choice, but I really did not pay attention that it was only a dollar less and now I am feeling taken advantage of. She was very rude and said there is nothing she can do, and that I can shop somewhere else. I told her that I was going to contact Nextdoor and Yelp so that people are aware that Kanan Beauty Supply is now in the habit of ripping people off when they don't get correct sized products from their vendors so that they do not lose profit. That is disgusting to me, especially in light of all that has been happening in 2020.

I have been here a few times, and I really liked it! They have a great variety of products and the people who work there are really nice. They are very helpful, and always seem to find what we need! I'm so glad that Kanan beauty is so close-as I didn't even know it was there until my Nextdoor neighbor told me about it. It's really well Stocked and it's only a few blocks from my house ! Ahhh who knew. So.....now, I will be a regular fan of this store and I'm very grateful considering I am a hairstylist so it's great to have all of the supplies so close to me now. If you need anything Hair related like a new brush a new comb, nail polish, , hair color for your hair , blow dryer's , heat mats, anything you need! They also have many other items that you can find useful so be sure to go by Kanan beauty and check it out. I am so glad I did!!! Everyone who works there is really nice as well, and they know the products in the store and how to use them. So feel free to ask questions and find what you are looking for.

After 20 years as a devoted customer, my wife bought me a comb. When I saw the $19.95 price tag, I asked her to return it.They refused. Despite having the receipt from just a few days before, in the original unopened package, and being willing to accept store credit, they simply said no. Wife asked them to check with the owner who confirmed that policy.That's no way to stand by your products, no way to treat long time customers. Needless to say, we'll take our business elsewhere.
