I love these guys. Their prices are good, service is great, they're very flexible, easy to make an appointment, very no-nonsense. I've been twice now.
The first time was for an oil change and general tune-up. They charged me less than the dealership, and they were able to take care of a tiny piece of body work I needed and didn't charge me extra for it! They were also proactive, but not pushy, in letting me know that I needed new tires in the front. Today I went back to get those new tires on. Same excellent, friendly, quick service.

These guys have helped me out so many times with my tire needs. Mounting, balancing flat repairs, and very reasonable pricing on new tires. No gouging if you didn’t buy your tires here like some other places. Just fair, reasonable, fast, honest service.

They’re a great local shop. I’ve been coming here for oil changes, headlamp replacements , tire changes…you name it. They’re usually pretty busy, so I’d call in advance to make an appointment. Otherwise, couldn’t be happier with the service.

Needed a battery replaced in my car. I called and they got me in right away They called a few hours later to tell me my car was ready. Excellent service! Friendly and professional customer service I will definitely use this auto mechanic shop again.

Malcolm, Sebastian and team are worth their weight in gold. I met them when they opened their shop maybe in 2014 and I lived down the street. Now we live in oakland and I drive 20-30 min to their shop because they are that good. Great auto care. Honest and extremely fair prices. Personable and friendly. I'll never go elsewhere. I've referred maybe 5 friends here who are all super pleased. Your car is in great care at 1701.

Always a positive and honest place. It’s truly hard to find a place where u can trust. They inform you what you need and recommendations, no hard sale. They always have repeat customers and that tells a lot about the quality of work they do.

Just brought my car in to the nicest guys at 1701 Auto Care with a flat tire (and the service light on) at 8 AM this morning…an hour and a mere $112 later, they’d patched the tire, changed the oil and sent me on my way!
It was such a stellar experience, I’m feeling compelled to spread the word!

Sebastian was amazing. As a woman I regularly feel I am getting ripped off at the dealership auto shop. He was recommended to me by a friend. This place offers great prices and you can trust their work. Highly recommend and will be coming back!
