Never seen so much clothes in my life. Place is looking like a huge outdoor thrift store. And most of the clothes aren't even vintage. This place used to be a true antique show, now it's just another flea market. Sad

If you're in the market for 90's used clothing this is that place to be. Venders are very extremely nice. Free weed smoke for customers as they maneuver around the venders sitting in the middle of the rows. No pricing on the clothing so if you look like you have money you better bring it. Is also fun digging through a piles of sweaters on the ground to find out the cheapest one is 150 with stains and lint balls and smells like smoke. -Venders- (a few things you need to know when vending at alameda.) -do not bring a clothing rack, just throw it on the ground. - don't bring a mirror, just tell customers to use another venders mirror. - bring weed and a chair to sit in the middle of the row. - get six of your buddies to split two booths fees super cheap that way ($41) - park in the row until YOURE ready to leave. Make it harder for the other venders. -head office if full of extremely nice folks, not rude at all and get back to you right away.. Attendees- free entrees behind the portable bathrooms on the left side of the show. - if they have a price tag on it ask they if they will take half of the listed pice, if not be extremely rude to the vender. - bring money, lots of it.

This event was a fun time! We enjoyed walking around all the stalls and know for certain that anything we were interested was verified antique. The only thing i wasn’t fond of was the food/drink service. For the whole fairy there’s only one stand with $14 cups of wine and the lady running the stand over charged me my mistake I should’ve said something after I found out the real price of the drinks. Drink and eat before you go! Other than that the music was fun a lively and they usually do theme nights. We went on a sleep-ware event. Pretty funny.

It was huge and lots to see! I'd say about half-hearted vendors were willing to haggle prices by a few bucks but definitely not more than that, even when they are packing up to leave, probably because it's a monthly event. You will leave with a lot of great stuff though! Clothes, to glass, to doors, furniture, toys, comic books, blankets/pillows, etc. Great food vendors too, and atms on side. Also provide big bags for $5 and option to rent a shopping cart for $3-5 as well. HAD A BLAST!

If Vintage and Antiques are your thing, then this is heaven on earth! First the backdrop of the bay bridge and the San Francisco City scape is just breathtaking. We were lucky to come on a nice day which was sunny. However beware that there is no shade anywhere. Bring a hat, glasses and sunscreen because getting through everything will take more than one day. It's open the first Sunday of every month. Parking is free and it's easy too. The price of admission drops the later you go. We arrrived at 9am and paid $10 per person. Literally everything was fascinating and beautiful. I wish I had a house to decorate and furnish because it would all come from here! And if you feel hungry or thirsty, there are food trucks that await to feed your hunger! It's a great inexpensive way to spend a Sunday, by strolling through all the booths, looking at the unique and beautiful items and maybe buying a chotchkie or two, or maybe even buying a whole mid century modern dining table. I'll be back next month!

I've been going to the Alameda Antiques Faire for the past 4 years religiously (even on those rainy and windy days that weren't cancelled with 15 vendors there) and patiently waited during Covid for things to re-open, but it was SOOO worth the wait! However, even though I still go every month, for the past 3-4 months, there seems to be a lot more used clothing booths than ever before. It's gotten to the point where entire halves of rows are strictly used clothing booths that trickle into the walkway narrowing the walking path. I'm all about supporting vendors and their amazing time spent setting up and procuring their wares, but the clothing booths have gotten a bit out of control. It almost seems like there are 2-3 clothing vendors who rent out 9-10 booths selling the same type of clothing. I understand that it has drawn a younger crowd who search for great clothing finds which is awesome, but I'm concerned that it might faze out some of the other "traditional" antique vendors and stalls and end up being an outdoor "Crossroads". With all that being said, I also feel like the scale is trending less towards the "traditional vendor" and slowly transitioning to the trendier requests for vintage clothing. Again, just my two sense...I still love going every 1st Sunday of the month to find treasures and bask in all of the nostalgia! I just want to give people a more genuine and realistic expectation of what to expect. Have fun and happy antiquing!!!

Totally disorganised. 45+ minute car queue with multiple merging streams. Hour long queue for entry tickets. Zero traffic or crowd control. We gave up in the ticket queue. Exhausting and frustrating experience. Best to avoid.

This is a huge antique fair, extremally busy too. Traffic was backed up, it took more than 30 mins to get to the parking lot after reaching Alameda, a very popular fair, lots of vendors, interesting antique stuff, including furniture, clothes, painting etc. Need at least 2-3 hours to cover all the stores. You can also view the SF Skyline from here.

Pricy items you can’t find elsewhere, be prepared to walk a few miles, bring sun protection and more cash than you think. ATMs on site, carts for rent
