Very helpful, If I could leave 10 stars I would. Super nice and took me in even when I didn't have an appointment. Love the hospitality.

There is only 1 ATM and by the way it doesn't work there are no signs advising not to enter the drive thru to avoid traffic

I was told I have to return to this branch and have them call someone to come out physically to the branch, open the ATM and find my checks. That is preposterous! I just filed an FTC complaint and a BBB complaint and am working on a Consumer Affairs complaint. Meanwhile Saturday is the first of the month. And this should not be happening. *** Weds, 6/28/2023, at ~4:40pm Pacific Time I deposited 5 checks, some endorsed, some not, into my personal checking account, the exact amount I have no idea, the ATM (ICAH2123) cycled like it was processing and then rebooted. I called the number and couldn't get through to a human - twice. I went into the branch in Alameda South Shore, Alameda, California and was told my multiple people they couldn't help me. I loudly said I refused to leave until someone did. An employee took me into an office and suggested I call again from my phone and file a claim. The agent I spoke to on the phone, in Philly I think, said he could see the checks and the amounts, one of them was for two hundred something, he assured me, "promised" me that the checks would clear and show the next day. That's today. They didn't I've chatted and called, so far speaking with 4 people and am now being told there is no record of any of the checks. Seems like someone should go find the person who I spoke to yesterday, listen to the recording of the call and get the money into my personal checking account ASAP. Saturday is the first of the month- this is unacceptable! I was told that to physically return to the branch and request that they call someone to manually open the ATM - that is RIDICULOUS. One, I shouldn't have to do the leg work on this, two, WHY WOULD THEY LISTEN TO ME TO DO THIS. I can't wait to get this resolved and close my accounts.

This place is the worst. Bank of America is terrible. I've had with this bank, charging me fees without telling me. Customer service is terrible. BofA sucks.

Busy location, but all the staff is helpful. I needed assistance with a wire transfer, the person that greets you as you enter helped me do it online fine my laptop and even provided a open office to allow me privacy. For me, she went above and beyond. 5 stars for me. Sucks I don't remember her name.

I went into the bank to make a cash deposit with mix bills for amount about 4k. Once I got to the business teller she tells me the money would have to be seprated. I ask her if that is that a policy for Bank of America she says yes (LIE) I ask her again that was when she called her manager over and she says the bank policy is cash deposits have to be seprated. I ask her where is that writen because I know for a fact Bank of America does not have a policy then she says that is the policy of the Branch then I asked to see that policy in writing she says they did not write it down. How can that be when you have policy that is different than the company you should have it writing. After I asked for a private meeting with the manager who explains to me how when they take in money they have to close and count the money my response was how is that my problem. I am the customer and how the bank does business is not my problem nor should I have to wait or be punished because of having cash. THIS IS A BANK and banks deal with cash so whats the problem. Heck I am not sure if the lady I was talking to was really the manager as the two people I talked with were caught in LIES. How can you do business with a Bank with the people who work for the bank tell you lies?????

I have filed a complaint with corporate and are in the process of cancelling ALL my accounts with Bank of America because of the way your associates treated me today. Corporate gave me your contacts and encouraged me to reach out to you all. At around 1pm today, I was waiting in line to withdraw $800 at the South Shore Alameda Branch. One of the customers in front was taking longer than expected. Myself and a few others were quite frustrated with the wait. Another teller by the business services was opened but not the consumer tellers. When your assistant manager, JULIO RANGEL walked by, I asked him if he could open up another teller. He said he already did and what else did I want him to do??? I was quite taken by his attitude and said but that's the business teller not the consumer. He responded with an attitude and said look they can help you too just wait. I told him I did not appreciate his tone and this is no way to treat a customer who has a choice to bank elsewhere. He said withdraw your money then! I asked him where the manager was. He said I have my card here if I want to file a complaint. I have been a platinum member for 23 years and I have never been treated this poorly. I did exactly what he suggested. I'm in the process of closing multiple accounts: savings, checkings, credit cards, merrill edge, mortgage, and business. I will soon be a former member. Is this how you treat a customer who simply requests another teller to be opened? Was it because I am of Asian descent? Who knows? I withdrew my checking account immediately and went on to open an account with Chase as suggested. They treated me with open arms. Update: Met with the supervisor. Her reaction was quite stoic. This is how this branch treat their customers. They run it like a DMV with zero accountability and customer service.

Absolutely awful service. Disorganized and slow. Took over three weeks to make an "appointment" to open a checking account (which had to be done in the branch). After waiting half an hour past the appointment time, they had lost the information and required a paper social security card which was never mentioned. This is not the first time I have had a bad experience here. I was previously treated rudely by a banker who refused to help me withdraw funds from my account. I won't be doing my banking here any longer. What a disaster of a branch.

This event actually happened years ago, but still worth mentioning so many years later. One of the tellers accidentally botched a $3K check deposit that my mom made. Obviously, when my mom saw that $3k was missing she went back and they told her that it didn't exist. They treated her like she was crazy and a customer was telling her to go home with no idea what was going on, which btw gives you a clue about some of the people of Alameda unfortunately. Fortunately, my mom had the deposit receipt (yep, those things are actually very useful in very bad cases). Weeks later, she got her $3K deposited, but not after being humiliated in the branch for the tellers mistake. After over 20 years of being a customer, I closed my account. It took over an hour to do so. I'm not going to lie, I feel absolutely no remorse for the digitization of the banking industry. I haven't set foot in a bank for years at this point.

Terrible customer service. Wait for an hour while six employees are "taking lunch" at the same time. Do not come here.

This has to be by design. The efficiency of this branch is nil. They are intentionally going slow. I am not sure of their end game but the service is insufferable.

Worst physical bank ever. So slow only one window open with a bunch of people sitting around. I'm full switching banks.

The slowest bank I've ever been to in my life. Went in to get a cashiers check. Should have gone to 7-11. It would have been faster and more professional.

Just like most of the other reviewers, I'm standing in line for a transaction that cannot be done at the ATM nor online. There's only one teller on a Friday. Some people in front of me at sitting on misc furniture. Although most BofAs now have too few tellers, this is extreme. I would leave but my transaction must be done. Just move your money to a different banking institution
