Unprofessional, unqualified, unethical: they delivered a damaged crown that was unnecessary and is causing significant dental damage - and they refused to stand behind it. They delivered an unnecessary and shoddy filling that is causing severe dental damage - and they refused to address it.This shady business needs to be investigated & shut down by the ADA.Please avoid using this business.

Came here to get my teeth scanned for touch ups for my Smile Direct Club aligners. Bonnie helped check me in, scan my teeth, & was thorough on explaining everything to me. Whole session took 15 minutes. & Bonnie was really friendly - it made the whole experience painless & pleasant.

one of the worst experiences I have ever had.I don't know much about the whole company but the one located in Alameda is terrible. not recommending it at all! They screw up my x-ray to be sent to MetLife every time they say they send it I check with MetLife they said they didn't receive it like 5 times (I did it once and they receive it.)every time I call no answer, I leave a voice mail for a call back nothing, one of the managers there said that they are only 2 in the office, but why it should be my problem? I'm paying for a good service not hearing excuses, that you are short staffed. maybe if you (Bright Dental) offer more money to the employees they don't need to quit.and honestly wanted to leave this awful place in a while, when the manager asks if you are not satisfied you can look for another dental, I said to myself that's exactly what I need to do.I regret not doing it sooner. live and learn.again, I don't know about other locations, but don't go to the Alameda location and save yourself a headache.

I love my dentist, Dr. G., and the gentle care she and other staff provide, including dental cleanings that are quickly restoring my gum health. I am 67 now and expect to be able to keep my own teeth throughout my life time. Thank you, Bright Now!

It could be 2 stars but my appointment was at 1pm but they didn’t see me until 2:30 I was finally out of the dental office by 3:40pmAlso I requested a cleaning and I was told I needed a follow up from a deep cleaning I had two years ago which makes no sense Two years after (the follow up was supposed to be 4 months later, no one told me)they explained with my insurance I can get two deep cleanings a year so do I need it or do they want to do it just because I’m covered? I made the appointment for the deep clean Follow up and couldn’t get one until February 6,2024??♀️ so dissatisfied!

Office manager made me pay upfront after my services. I received EOB(explanation of benefits) from my insurance after office billed and clearly indicated 99% of the charges were covered, SO, they took my money and billed the insurance for the same services and got paid 2x ! I addressed this with Gladis , she argued, was rude , unapologetic of knowing insurance covered the services and our family paid for the same services too! . She argued about reimbursement to our credit cards. This is illegal This is bad business practice…they owe me and my family money and they were not going to contact me, I had to contact them! Make sure you get a an EOB or call your insurance regarding coverage.. Read other reviews, appears overcharging for services is routine .. Rating of “1”. Is too high for this office. Plus they NEVER answer the phone and there is 4 people sitting there!!! Poor customer service

Horrible service… Had an appointment at 1:30pm, showed up at 1:17pm. Didn’t get service until 3:21pm. Wasted 2 hours waiting and service only took 45 minutes. Also, this was the 4th time they rescheduled this service due to over booking/ poor scheduling. Not only that but I pre-paid for my device 3 months before and never received it but the front desk person tried to charge me again for a service that I have already paid for.Just hope that they didn’t bill my insurance company for double or things I never gotten.

Turn around, find another dentist! !! Poor customer service! No one answers the phones. Office staff tell you services not covered. And make you pay upfront but then you find out after insurance is billed, services are covered. The office manager refuses to cooperate to when you try to get your money back! Isn't this illegal? Few of dentist are rude and have poor bedside manners

I made an appointment for what was to be an Xray, cleaning and exam. Sat for an hour waiting to get the Xray completed by a very unfriendly staff person. Then was told I had to take antibiotics and come back for a deep cleaning. Never saw a dentist. Got a prescription and came back days later to be told the cleaning was extra. Waited a long time for a dentist to come in who talked to me for a couple of minutes to say that I needed $4263 worth of work done. I left. Later I learned that X-rays are the patient's property, so called and had them forwarded to me. I then heard several recommendations for another top rated local dentist, so made an appointment and sent them my X-rays. At that hour long appointment all with the dentist, I was told that I have excellent teeth and don't need any work, or deep cleaning. I go into the above detail to show the difference between a reputable dentist and con artists. Don't wast your time and money on Bright Now.

Good equipment and place. But not the one for new patients. Check was not good, didn’t find 1 of my cavity or false detect crown. Added unnecessary items to the bill. Not recommended to new patientsI just received a bill from them for my visit 1.5 year ago. I did the annual dental check last time, which is covered by my insurance. And they said insurance did not pay full amount and request me to pay the bill. That is instance! Imagine receive an annual dental check bill after 1.5 year, that makes me feel like they did not charge properly, and insurance refuse to pay them full.DON’T COME HERE

I'm not sure how to rate the office. Unlike other reviews, I found the staff pleasant. Each person seemed to be trying their best. I came to the office as it is one of two locations in Alameda that accepts Medicare coverage for teeth cleaning. I was told teeth cleaning could not be provided without x rays and a dental consultation. These services were not needed as I have been under regular dental care and am well informed about my dental health. Nevertheless, I mentioned to the staff at each step I only was agreeing to the x rays and dental consultation if it was covered under Medicare and there was no additional out of pocket costs. I stressed that my visit was just for the Medicare covered cleaning. The dental technician was kind and understanding, and shared he was recently trained. About a dozen single x rays were taken, as well as a full mouth x ray. The dentist reviewed the x rays and, as I already knew, found no issues. However, at this point I was 1 1/2 hours into my appointment and had not received the cleaning. I shared with the Dentist my appointment was for a cleaning covered by Medicare. Next a staff member came in and asked me to sign approval for a cleaning, with fluoride, at a cost of $89. I was not asked about the additional charge, it was just there. I declined the fluoride and it was crossed off. My concern and reason for 3 stars (or perhaps less) was this was the quickest cleaning I have ever had. Hard to estimate, but perhaps around 15 minutes. The cleaning was with hand instruments. All of my recent cleanings have been with modern technology. The polish was applied first, not last. I'm not sure all of my teeth were cleaned ... and I actually asked. The room/chair had no facilities to rinse my mouth. Water removal was done by suction and I was left to swallow what was left. Being a senior I have had a lot of teeth cleanings. This, by far, was the least through and quickest I have ever had. Lastly, as I have mentioned I only came to the office for a cleaning, wishing to see what type of treatment I would receive under Medicare, compared to private dentists. I am fortunate to have access to other dental professionals. The cleaning was something I would not accept from others. I understand the need for complete dental care, but left with the impression that cleanings were loss leaders or quick secondary jobs for seeking more profitable procedures.

This is the worst dental office on the planet. RUN!!! Don't walk away from this place. The staff is unorganized and they make ALOT of mistakes in regards to treatment plans. I had work done here and in less than a year ALL off the work needed to be redone. I tried working with the staff for a refund and was not issued a refund now l'm left paying the cost out of pocket at a new dental office. The office manager GLADIS is rude and unresponsive. The office does not take accountability for mistakes but they will fight to cover them up. What's interesting is I received 3 different treatment plans from all the dentist providers that worked in this same office just to see how unorganized they really were. How is that even possible? How can providers work in the same office and see the same patients but need to correct each others work. lust don't waste your time here unless you want to waste your money. I'm in the process of filing a lawsuit. Thank God I kept all of my documents.
